Create Vagina without losing Penis?

I have heard that some male to female transsexuals have had a vagina created using skin grafts, so that the end result is that they have a penis and a vagina. Has anyone ever heard of this?

that is a new one to me. Wow..I wonder and am curious as to this process and the skin type alleged to use. I wonder if the scrotum was left intact or taken as there would be some serious competition for available space "down there".

I think it sounds impossible. Maybe it would work without the ability to maintain erection. I think the erectile tissue reaches close to the anus. So if you want to create a vagina u have to remove it and loose the ability to erect.

I don't know. There is a possibility that the penile tissue within the body could be split, without losing function, and a canal created between the penile tissues, right below where the penis is outside the body.

I have verified that this has been done, I am just not sure how?
