Tonight I read Ezekiel 39 and I find it amazing how over 2800 years back we find the things written are coming true today.How did this man know Russia would be a great power and that they would sign a pact with Iran.It will be interesting to watch how Russia decides why they want to attack Israel.I encurage you all to read this and watch.By the way Gog is Russia

Why is Gog Russia? We are told that Gog dwelt north of Israel, but there is little else to identify Gog in the passage. Gog and his allies are to attack "a land of unwalled villages" to collect booty, but before attacking Israel itself will be reduced to a "sixth" of their size (Ezekiel 39:2). Their reduced army will be destroyed in Israel, their dead buried in the Valley of Hamon-God for all to see and comment on (39:15-17).

Blaise you have to go back to Genesis where it talks about Noas sons and where they settled and Gog was the son that settled in the Russia region.

According to tradition, the giants Gog and Magog are guardians of the City of London; thus, I have always read Gog as having to do with England and its quest for world domination. Remember that the English fought against the establishment of modern Israel. I associate Michael with Russia.

All biblical writings should be taken with a rather large grain of salt. Most of that stuff was written to satisfy political needs of the time, and much of Genesis was taken from earlier Babylonian creation myths. Compare the Genesis creation story with a Sumerian story called the Enuma ELish. C'mon, we can't really be taking seriously the writings by a few peasants who dug for their living in the dirt a few thousand years ago, can we? The oldest profession is NOT prostitution... it's religion, and those who perpetuate that con, whether it's the Jesus Con, or the Mystical Rites Of Babbalu con, or the Islam Allah Is Great con are worse than prostitutes.... at least with prostitutes you get something in return for your money, a climax and sometimes a canker sore, but you get SOMETHING. With religion, all you get for your money is a vague promise of something after you die. Man, if I had less ethics than I have now, I'd start my own religion and retire rich.

Does this mean that you consider France to be Gog? I think that Gog is definitely England. I dug in the dirt a lot when I was a child.

All I want to say is keep a watch on Russia and when you see them heading to Israel that is the day to trust in the Lord.

I am wondering? is the loom and doom coming from the bible or the Christian right? That's right the next thing you know we will be told that only a Republican can save this country. Does it ever stop, or must we wait until November 5th to know what to do? what to think? Will this country be able to function without the fine leadership provided by the right.

Example:

We blame Russia for the invasion of Georgia with the bozo in charge condemning Russia for Invading a sovereign nation and he was able to do this with a straight face, well he did have his stupid look on.

Russia is going to do what Russia does, its feeling lonely with a country that is so much smaller, they just want a little back. Like always nobody in the world is paying any attention to Stupid and staff, why, they no longer count, even the world is ready for a change from what we have suffered through these last 8 years.
