A CHINESE woman killed her husband in his sleep, cut off his penis and placed it in the bed of their six year old son as a warning to him not to be unfaithful.

But despite the brutal death of Peng Wang, 45, his family have appealed to the court not to jail his wife Mouyu, 31, because they do not want their son Lo to grow up an orphan.

Peng, from Zhangzhou city in China, admitted to his wife that he had been unfaithful after she found text messages on his phone.

When he went to bed she hit him on the head with a hammer and then sliced off his penis with a kitchen knife, which she then gave to their son, 6, before calling police and confessing.

They found the dead man and recovered his penis from the bedroom.

The case was adjourned for reports after the brothers of the dead man wrote to the local police pleading for leniency.

They said: �Our brother brought shame on our family name and deserved to be punished. The child is only 6 years old, we do not want to ruin two lives, he should not lose his mother as well.�

The court is to announce the verdict soon.

The person I feel sorry for the most and am quite concerned about is the poor, innocent six-year-old son. The young boy has already been traumatized enough and now - to my understanding - is going to stay with and be raised by someone - his mother - who will most likely abuse him. :realpisse

Mommy Dearest was a VERY bitter ex-wife, thought ALL sex, even within marriage, was filthy, disgusting, nasty, ungodly, and a general bore. She was determined, or so I think, to see to it that her precious son would remain pure.

When she discovered that he was engaged in the usual childhood sex play she apparently began to plot and plan. The revelation that he carried this immature interest into his adult life and was tempted (but apparently did not cross that line,) by underage boys cemented her plans. I think the only reason she didn't castrate him herself or approach someone else to do it before he attained legal age was her fear of prison.

Even in China, I'd rather be an orphan than be raised by someone that killed my father and is likely abusive in general.

Let's not get lost in the details. What this woman committed was mutilation and murder.

It is absurd to consider those appropriate punishing for unfaithfulness: it would remind me of the sad times when a husband could kill his adulterous wife and allegate "legitimate defense of the honour".
