hello i am new to the forum.
2 weeks ago i strted on a dose of 50mg of androcur, but after 1 week dropped down to 25 mg,i could feel the effects after about 8 days and my libido is way down,i like the feeling of calm this brings,
My question is,if i take androcur will this have a good effet on my hairloss.
as at the moment my hairloss is minimal, also i do not want penis shrikage or testicle shrinkage if i can help this or to grow gyno, would taking tamoxifen with androcur help prevent the side effects that i do wish not to have

I am always suprised by the presence of the drug Tamoxifen on this forum. The other drugs I have associated with eunuchism before, but until I noticed Tamoxifen in a post for the first time a few months ago, it had only one meaning to me. My mom had a mastectomy 25 years ago. She was put on Tamoxifen afterwards, and took it for twenty years; she tested as free of cancer, and so after those twenty years, a doctor suggested she stop taking it. Not even two years later, she was riddled with cancer throughout her body, died shortly after that.
Thus my only recommendation (I am NOT a doctor) re. Tamoxifen is that if you are female and taking it due to a mastectomy, never, ever, Ever stop taking it.

AntonioValdez, if you take anti-andrgen like Androcur, you might reduce your hair loss, but you might not be able to avoid penis or testicular shrinkage as well.
Stefanisme, I am sorry to read about your mother's tragedy. From what I can get from google searches, it is sometimes used by males, especially by bodybuilders or men on Androcur for prostate cancer treatments to reduce gynecomastia. Haven't found anything to suggest that its stoppage would cause cancer growth.
