Chatroom suspended?

Anyone know what's up with the chatroom being suspended? This is the message I get when I try to log into it.

If you know what's up with that, please feel free to share.

This has happened in the past one other time that I know of, I belive it might be a software or Server error.

I checked through some of my notes, and noticed that the last time this error occured was on Feb. 11, 2002. Exactly one month ago. at about the same time of day. Sounds like Server Maintanence or something similar.

The Chat Room is temporarily closed due to technical difficulties. Ya, ya, I know but there isn't anything we can do since the java server is being uncooperative.

Supposedly everything will be up and running in the morning hours when some technician who specializes in this will be in the office.

That's about all we can do. On behalf of the Eunuch Archive I express our sorrows to all of you. Sometimes there just isn't anything you can do.

if you need to chat use irc, some of you may not like it but if you are desperate to talk then it is better than nothing.

Dont know why it is suspended either and thought just my use of it had been suspended. I wrote to find out why but no response

Bboy's sick, and if you emailed me, as some others have said, I never got it. I check my mail once in the morning and several times at night.

For the record : I have no clue what's going on with my Email for those who tried. I'm NOT ignoring you!

Thanks, I thought it was just a temporary problem. I probably should have phrased my question more as a problem notification than the way I did.

I think you guys do a great job, so the loss of a feature here for a while isn't a big deal. Well, not as big a deal as a feature many of us are looking to rid ourselves of on a personal level.

I didn't know what to do the last 2 nights with the Chat software being down. I'm sure looking forward to using it tonight
