chemical castrastion and libido

Just looking for some input, I am not sure that there is a normal reaction for chemical castration or not but I will ask anyways.

I have been on siterone 50mg 2 times per day with a brief time at 75mg 2 times per day for going on 4 months. I don’t get aroused easy like I use to but occasionally wake up with a semi hard on. I also find it very easy to get aroused with my wife and find orgasm very pleasurable actually more so that ever.

I am okay with this but I am not experiencing the same level of calm I was experiencing earlier. I just tried 150mg per day for 3 weeks and didn’t really seem to get any real benefit from it so I went back to 100mg per day.

I had my T level checked and it was at 66 down from 844. My question is are some people able to function like this and still be at castrate level or is it a matter of time before the chemicals catch up. I will be having my levels checked again this month just to make sure I am still at castrate level.

I was the same! I took 200mgs of androcur and was still able to function as before, if not better as it took me longer to orgasm, and it was much more intense, my wife loved it. The only thing she did not like was I had no cum for her to swollow!

If your T level is at 66 you are at castration levels. What your are experiencing is what your body will be at when castrated. Like it is always said, everyone is different in the experience with castration. No two people are alike. Age has a lot to do with effects. The mind has a great deal to do with sexual aspect of life. The effects will change in time and you can still get the effects that others talk about over time. After a few months on your level (dose) of androcur have your blood levels tested again to make sure your hormones are remaining at castration levels.

Wish you luck.

66 is what I would consider "high castrate" range. It's a bit higher than most end up on Androcur (as well as after surgical castration), but it is still definitely at a point where you should be feeling fully castrated. Within castrate range, lower is not necessarily better.

Thanks that is input I was looking for; I was just surprised that I am still able to "function" like I am. At this point I am very pleased with the way I feel except for maybe the being easily out of breath part. Right now I am going up and down 5 flights of stairs 4 or 5 times a day, it didn’t bother me before.

As far as my mind that could be a part of me that holds out I was always more into fantasy and stories than visual so I maybe holding out there and not even know it.

I had my T level last checked on 3/21 and am due for some more labs on 6/23 and will have it checked again then. Just curious to see if it has raised any or is the same. I wonder if I am still a little high due to where I started at

(844).

So for now I am very happy and content over all and feel better than I have for a very long time. I am also sure my wife is also happy with the new me as I no longer am trying to convince her to do all the things that my twisted mind could come up with. Not to mention I am not constantly pawing her and pestering her for sex 24/7.

Thanks again and I hope to one day to join the ranks of the physically castrated.

Terry

I just received my lab results and am disappointed to say that I am up from 66 to 105 now. Is it normal for there to be this much fluctuation? My dosage hasn’t changed I am still taking 50mg 2 times per day.

I guess that is why my old horn dog self seemed to be returning along with all the erotic dreams and other bad habits.

Is this something I should expect while I am just chemically castrated? I guess I will up my dose to 75 mg 2 times per day reluctantly as I am trying to take it easy on my liver and the like. I just liked the results I was getting originally and everything that went with it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks Terry

Why don't you try an anti-estrogen like Tamoxifen instead of upping current meds? It's cheap and has other benefits as well.

I remember reading a little about Tamoxifen and how it kills libido when used along with siterone, but does it also help lower T? Killing off my libido completely would be a good thing. The reason why I ask is I am looking to keep my T at castration level for some time as I am using chemical as a test run to decide if I want to make it permanent.

Thanks Terry
