While I'm repeating what I recently said in the Humbled Female thread, it's what's between your ears that makes you a man (or woman, eunuch). What's between your legs is all about your physical representation.

However I'm sure there are men who can't separate themselves from their genitals so the loss of them would change how they view themselves which brings me back to the mental aspect.

Well, most everything that makes a man appear masculine is caused by the testosterone from the testicles. But really, the most important thing is what a person thinks of themselves. If a person sincerely believes they are a "man," then they are a man regardless of what is between their legs or even what their testosterone levels are.

So, to answer the question, a penis does not make a man, testicles do not make a man, the MIND makes a man, woman, eunuch, or anything else. As for OUTSIDE appearance, then the testicles producing the testosterone cause the masclization of the body. Most people would probably say that is what makes a man, but I say that it is the mind that determines your sexuality, gender, and most everything else.

Even if you lost the testicles, you can get TRT via gels, injections..etc to maintain virilization.

This is true and its important (I think) to note that Testosterone levels and other hormones really do wire a lot of our behaviour. At least I feel they do me...

And I think weird high levels can turn a "man" into a ass...

Does gender really require such ridge definitions? A eunuch could be considered as having " self mediated " gender... Turn on the T levels and create the mind and appearance of a man... turn off the T replace it with E and slowly transition to a more feminine being, or remain neutral... This idea of dynamic gender is what attracts me to the whole idea of getting castrated, of being a third type of person really
