This information I found in a Dutch instruction leaflet for Androcur

It tells that androcur is alsoo used against hot flushes after the surgical removal of one or both testes.

As I didn't see this information before, it could be usefull for some people.

I have the Dutch instruction leaflet available as a pdf file so if anyone needs it...

I can see it being used when one testicle is removed but not for both. Androcur can cause the hot flashes if you still have testicles. The hot flashes is cause from the change in hormones in the body. In this case from having testosterone to having greatly reduced levels.
