Phalloplasty Surgery

Post by antonia (imported) »

This is the best I have seen yet in phalloplasty surgery.

Some really incredible and remarkable photographs of a F2M.

Very interesting, antonia! I didn't realize they took flesh from other parts of the body, but it certainly makes sense. I have one question: Is the resultant penis fully functional? does it get erect, induce orgasm, etc?

Actually it just occurred to me that this might be a good opportunity to express some gratitude.

Back in 1996 when I was getting really serious about castration, I was conversing with several different "practitioners," and I had even purchased both an elastrator and a burdizzo. I was desperate, but none of the options I knew about seemed like a good idea to me. That's when I had an idea.

It occurred to me that if I wanted to know about castration I should get involved with a group in which castration is a major concern. Obviously the next conclusion was the TS community! After all, isn't that one of the first steps in the road from Male to Female? So I started visiting TS sites, which is where I first heard of Dr. Spector, who wasn't as well known then as he is now. The rest, as they say, is history.

So, a great big THANK YOU to the TS community! Although I personally have no interest in becoming female, the folks that I met were understanding and supportive, and I gained a lot more than castration from that association. I learned that TS's are real people with real needs, and the majority of them have to go through a lot to achieve what is to them necessary for total happiness. Unfortunately many of them never do achieve that ultimate destiny because of the costs and difficulties involved. My hat is off to you all!

Wow! Good link Antonia.

I had to laugh at the tattoo from his forearm ending up on his new dick!

It is amazing the lengths that a person will subject themselves to in order to acheive their desired body! Especially since you have to figure that he would have also had breasts removed and liposuction and maybe facial surgery as well.

But the results do look pretty good. He's got more body hair than I do!

Dear Charlieje,

They don't just cut out a piece of meat and relocate it, this is microsurgery in its finest perfection. Usually they build in a pump to make the penis errect and connect up the nerves of the clitoris to the penis. These are just my layman explanations, and the net is full of detailed info on this subject.🤘

Dear Splitdick,

Funny you noticed and mentioned this but only yesterday evening I was with a group of TS men and we had a good laugh about the relocated tattoo.😄

Thanks much, dear Antonia. It is interesting to see how it is done for F2M people. But it is rather distressing how complicated, time consuming, and expensive it is for them. None of the transmen that I know have made it that far in their surgeries, whereas we can have ours done rather easily (scores of surgeons to choose from), fairly quickly (my op took 11 hours straight, but other procedures were done at that time, too), and rather affordable ($6000US, was done in Thailand).

We M2F people are lucky to be able to have our problem addressed so easily and with such good results. But just imagine what it would be like were we born 100 years ago. It seems that there is much to be done before F2M surgery comes close to the availability and affordability as ours is, but Michael's results are encouraging!

Recall the ongoing Kanaras case, where Michael Kantaras, an F2M who has not had phaloplasty, is on trial for joint custody of his children. Much of the trial has centered around how Kantaras can be a man if he does not have a penis. Well, of course he is a man--cut the weenie off of a natal man and that would not make him a woman! The lack of phaloplasty does not make him an unfit father.

Many F2M men look forward to the time when such procedures are more easily available. I understand fully.

Much love,

Kelly :)

Thanks much, Charlie! I am so happy when normal people realize that. When people do get to know me or my friends, they find that yes, we are just perfectly normal folks too.

Much love,

Kelly :)

It is unfortunate for F2M folk that getting male genitals is so much more difficult than getting female genitals is for M2F.

One hope they have is the perfection of penis transplantation, where instead of getting a penis constructed, they actually get someone else's penis. This has been tried by a doctor in Italy, see:
