after becoming a eunuch do your fantasies go away completely? i read a post where the postee (not on HRT) said he didnt even think of sex. i assumed castration would lower your sex drive but wouldnt stop you from thinking about sex all together. can any eunuchs help me out? thanks

Well, Randy, your going to get a lot of different answers on this subject.

As for me, I've been on chemical castration for well over a year and a half now and also was on some estrofem for several months until my male breasts started getting out of hand, so, stopped the estrofem.

Anyway for me, pretty much all the sex drive is gone unless I happened to be approached and really toyed with,( and it does takes a lot) but, even then it isn't anywhere near what it was prior to the effects of the chemicals. When I'm not around any of the old gang, I very seldom ever think of sex like I did before the chemicals took full effect. When I'm alone it never much crosses my mind, but, for me, what does prevail is the need to be close and the need of the affection of another does become prevailant more. I know this may sound contradicting, but, most will come to understand a definate difference between affection/love, and physical sex. A lot of the guys on the way to becomming a eunuch will come to the determination that the two are very different things as I did.

As you will learn from many of the board members here, Each individual reacts differently to castration, so, that is why it's strongly recommended that one should go the chemical castration route for an extended time to get used to the effects and to find out if it's what you really want to do before the big and final cut.

I'm not on a chemical castration but on antidepressants, and they have had the same sort of effect on myself. When it comes to sex fantasy's they have gone down dramatically, and I really have to get myself worked up to do anything.

I find that I think about sex only by choice, not like before when thoughts came constantly, unbidden.

I do still find some pleasure in the story archive, but it doesn't hold the same fascination that it did before.

The mind is also a sex organ. Despite having low T, I can and do think about sex and can give myself an erection. However, involuntary erections are mostly non-existant now.
