More Kawfeeeeeee!

Yo....zzzzzzzzz....Huh? Wot?....li here.
I've been keeping a sort of log, as of late, of my sleep "history". Well, it makes for pretty sad reading.
Most of you have noted, I'm sure, that I pop up here at some rather odd and random hours. Between NOT having to spend much time in the more regimented atmosphere of the office, being called upon to "run errands" at odd times, and the timetables associated with my hunting and fishing endeavors, I'm lucky not to be a "Dead Girl Walking"...or just plain DEAD!
A splendid example of that of which I speak.
Up early on a recent morning. Zip to the office to drop off some stuff on disc; Back on the road to meet a friend for breakfast at Magnolia Pancake House (unbelievable place!); Drop another friend at the airport so she can meet her cruise ship in Miami;...all before 10 AM. Then, home to take care of an overload of overdue personal correspondence, thence to the Post Office to mail same and pick up a package. That got me to about 1 PM...pant, puff.
Lunch with one of the bosses; Had to meet him at a place on Broadway, select stuff for a picnic lunch, then head for a park to nibble on smoked turkey, cold roast beef, cheese, rolls, fruit salad, etc., while we plotted as to how to fire someone without being labeled "racist".
By just after 3 PM, I was at The Rim (Great new mall.), melting another credit card. Then across the street to BassProShops to drool (but bought only a nice birthday gift for a friend AND some pricey fudge for self...The Devil made me do it.) Finished that little tour around 5 PM.
OK, then to a nice pub for Happy Hour with two more friends (one a KiKaKo member and the other a prospective member, even if she doesn't know it yet.)
7 PM-ish...Dinner with same two friends at a Chinese place.
Home by 9:30 PM...swim. Ash(leigh) out of town...miss her but grateful for the solitude. Promised self to be asleep not later than 11 PM...Wrong! Typical day.
Last night I hit the hay at Midnight. Up and semi-at 'em by 3:45 AM.
Today...Have to be at the office for a few minutes...maybe in and out by 7 AM. Time spent there perhaps 30 minutes.
Then drive the 70 miles or so to Kerrville, getting pastry crumbs all over me and car, for a meeting related to work. Meet a client in Boerne (ber-knee) on the way back to have a working lunch with an associate, then change clothes and spend a couple of hours annoying the bass with him at the local lake.
Home by Dark:30, swim, and annoy Ash(leigh) while we dine.
Hope to fall into bed NLT 10 PM...Oh Faint Hope!
The point of this rant is that I want to know if I'm the only one of us who so mistreats him/her self.
For the longest time I've seemed to thrive on this all-too-typical cycle. Some folks call me "The Energizer Bunny". Well, this wabbit is beginning to feel the strain.
One of the bosses is after me to disappear, perhaps to the more remote of BG's ranches, well away west of SA. He wants me to hang a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the ranch house door, inform the foreman, his wife, and brats that I MEAN IT!!!, then take a sleeping pill. He says to stay for at least three nights and not leave the house 'cept to swim and stargaze. No phone calls...riiiight! No visitors...can do!...No work...Ohhhhh, yeah! NO alcohol either...WOT?
Sure, I can get by on bacon and beans!:(
And...he wants to detail someone to drive me there so I'll have no means by which to sneak into the nearest little town for fun n' games. Ha! He forgets the horses!
I just may do this!
Thanks for putting up with this "crashing bore".
