Gynecomastia: unwanted breast tissue commonly referred to as "man breasts."

Many have talked about male breasts in relationship to effects of castration or castration drugs. There is a good number of men that develop breast as part of their normal life. Most will just try to hide them with loose fitting shirts. They are the ones that never take their shirts off in summer even when they go swimming. It is very embarrassing for them and try to hide them. Some do seek medical help to have a mastectomy performed.

I came upon this video link and story that is about the operation for a teen. May help some have a better understanding about male breasts.

Isn't that the way of the world, one man's awful breast are another's lovely boobs.

I have a nephew who was thin and athletic but he developed excess tissue. In a t shirt he would have little bud shaped breasts on an otherwise muscled and toned body. Working in a hospital at the time I was able to connect he and my sister, his mother, with a great surgeon. He was much happier after the surgery.
