Electrolysis question

Like many on this board, I'm not quite happy with my appearance "down there." I've found a woman who will do a full bikini and a touch more. I/m hoping to clear my belly, and genital area but leave the scrotum hairy. Its not really functional but I might as well decorate it. I really want the backside (especially the crack) cleared. Before I start this process, she has done a couple of other men, any words of wisdom?

I had electrolyses some years ago I won a little money in a quiz and blew it all on a course of electrolyses, the course took several sessions over several weeks, I cannot say it was painful but it was unpleasant.
I imagine its harder for a male as the scrotum area is quite tender for this sort of treatment, But what the hell go for it Borg, I still consider it a well worth investment, but do make sure before you have over your money, should areas regrow she will do it for free.

i have spent money, too much to count on painful treatments.
i much prefer to go in for a wax than a round of electrolysis. the results for the later are slow coming.

how about buying one of those epilators!

:dong:
I am sure someone would be glad to tie you down every couple of weeks for a free session.

I had several treatments back a few years ago. If you have the average amount of hair for a male expect a long slow process as each hair must be destroyed one at a time. Even after an area has been cleared, hair that was dorment at the time of treatment may return later. Its a costly slow way to eliminate hair.

I also am looking into hair removal. I found a facility that is like a cross between a spa and a clinic. They have a RN who does laser hair removal. It is a very professional environment. I've been told by my trainer that at worst if feels like a mild sun burn. It does take repeated trips for the final results. The laser kills the hair follicle if the hair is firmly attached to the follicle. Since we loose hair daily, the hair that is not fully attached will fall off but will regrow again in the undamaged follicle. This is why it take several session. I haven't found out about the cost but my trainer says it's about $100.00 per session. Hope this helps.

Laser for a $100 a session? THe best I've found, while West Virginia isn't a beehive of liberal things, was $600 for the areas I want done, front, back and sac.

But how many sessions does the 600 cover, and do they guarantee results? I suspect when you break it down, the two would be competitive.

Well, first you get what you pay for. I just started electrolysis. Half hour or so sessions for 42 bucks. She told me once a week for a couple of months and then once every 3 or 4 weeks for about a year. About a grand for complete removal. Thats' just the beard. I haven't asked about the breast. I've heard you can plan on about 2500 to 3000 dollars for upper body and beard.
Has anyone over 40 had success with laser? I've got to much white hair. My electrolyists guarantees that after about a year (ie two or three treatments of the same hair) its permanent. I have found no laser place that will guarantee their work.
I think it well take longer for me, I can't really afford 200 buck a month so may need to slow down the process.
I told my wonder doctor I was doing it and she without me begging for it gave me a script for a lidocaine cream for pain, will really not pain discomfort would be closer to the feeling. If you've use an epilulator electrolysis is nothing.
Sorry about rambling along.

I would go for laser myself if I could afford it.
