Is it like "Fargo" with flat, white, desolate landscapes carved by a few highways?

It's the wind that sux, not the temperature. I'm out in it all the time, cold doesn't bother me, but the wind cuts like a knife. That's why I wear a vest over my windbreaker. Really.
That is for sure, the wind bites at you, its not friendly.

Gray Day.
High Gray clouds.
High sixties.
Cozy, unmotivating weather.
Another rain opportunity, missed.
Maybe next weekend, "they" (and we know who "they" are) say.

Another disappointing rain event.
Hardly a quarter of an inch over a couple of days.
It came down in cloud bursts and not that lite sprinkle of Winter rain.
More Spring like. Should it rain in the Spring.
Non fruiting pear trees that line my n'hood streets
are in full white glory while all other winter dormant stuff remain, asleep.
The rain freshened the blossoms.

Send rain.
A real down pour. A gully washer.

I'm 400 miles west. The complete other side of Pennsylvania. He's somewhere in New Jersey.

NJ is so small you can spit from one side of the state to the other.

Well, at least Pennsylvania has some beautiful mountain-scapes. Was always a good state to pass through.

That evaporative chill is in the air. The thermometer sez near 60F but it feels colder then that.
Small green loquat fruit are ripening and today I noticed my two pomegranate bush/trees breaking bud.
The Fuji Apple, Mission Fig, Royal Apricot and Royal Lee Cherry trees and berry vines
show no signs of bud formation. The avocado tree is showing some early budding while last year's fruit ripens.
Even the outdoor/indoor cat OFBK prefers indoor.
When I offered "inside" this afternoon, she "fast walked" across the yard.
And she does not "fast" for nothing. I think rodents just jump onto her claws.
But I have not witnessed it. Suffice to say, we all preferred inside today.
