I know of nothing wrong with the Message Boards or the chat room. So the Boards are run by a nice guy wearing the bright red robes of a nun. That's normal isn't it?

Strange, nothing has changed as far as function of this site, that I've noticed, in several years.

I can't see any radical change other than improvements in performance and the subtle changes that come with software updates!
What I do know is EA is very much alive and been a great help to me and I am very thankful for it and the very real friendship and and support I get from many members. Even though we have not met it feels like family to me and a very important part of my life.

Witout the help of this site and the information here, I would still have my balls and be in pain. Thanks to the info, I am now very happily castrated.

Was back about 2005 when the internet was the new growing madly, there were several groups focused on castration like KLAMP and erotic castration. I was a member of a couple of them. Ocassionally I actually felt I was talking with a real person. Beginning about 2007-10 that seemed to dwindle. It got to the point that there might be one post every six months about something like Cowboy John in St. Regis, Mt having a mass castration. Really? I have actually dropped them. I suspect that Splitdick had a good point earlier in this thread that at first there was a lot of pent of demand from years of people not knowing there were people with similar thoughts and desires. That has worked its way thru. I still pop in here because there are interesting people who now and again have something interesting to say.

And it is fun to run into old internet friends, e-friends, now and then

That won't happen again. Actually, the political forum was itself almost the death of this place.

In the time (months and years) since the EA dropped the "political board," the level of abuse of political forums has risen across the internet.
Even on the discussion boards for movies and TV shows, posters don't just disagree, they question manhood, ancestry, and post vulgar, insulting comments. All this just to say that they won a point. they don't begin with a political statement, these posters start with insults so vile that it is disgusting. There is no "discussion" just comment threads twenty or thirty posts long filled with insults and impossible hate-filled spit.
There is one political site that regularly posts warnings and rules in the comment threads and for each of those posts, certain members call out the website and the authors in rather vile and disgusting terms. They post the comments that were deleted on their private websites and criticize the political boards as wrong. I can't tell you what the post were but they were vile. Those websites routinely let political figures be compared to sex organs, barn animals, and criminals. Even the movie boards I go to to read about the latest and greatest films tolerate "F" bombs and other bad language. The posters lack respect for anything.
So be glad that the EA is free of that type of "discussion".
These discussions have evolved far beyond anything that was ever done on the EA. (and I'm one member who can say that).
