I am deeply saddened to hear this news, but at the same time I am very glad to know that Christina is no longer suffering in any of the many ways she did in this life. All she knows now and all she will know for eternity are peace, love, and joy.

Christina was one of the very first people to reach out to me and offer help when I first joined the EA. She was a kind and compassionate woman who was always willing to help her friends through whatever struggles they were dealing with.

We chatted many times online, and I was fortunate enough to get to meet Christina in person. I am going to miss her, and I will never forget her.

Lilac, you were there for Christina throughout all of this, and I know she will repay you for that by watching over you. Your friends at the EA appreciate all you have done for Christina, and we know this is a difficult time for you. We are here for you. *Hugs*

I am just too sad to express myself. Christina was one of the first friends I ever had at the EA. I am happy that her suffering has come to an end but I will really miss her. I know every one else does too.

I think my first memory of Christina was in the Lobby when she asked me about my nickname and was suitably entertained by my explanation. We talked about WoW, later on, and she always greeted me with a fire-related comment upon logging in. I was shocked to hear she was in so much pain, and my heart goes out to all who knew her better than me, especially Lilac.

It was tough to work yesterday and may be tougher today. All of us will miss her.

I am always slow to post about these things. I guess my own pain and conflicted feelings slow me down. I am very sorry Christina is gone and I will miss her, but I am not as sorry as I was about the pain, trials and anguish she suffered for what seemed to be nearly forever. She deserves rest. --FLO--

I "met" Christina in the chat. I learned of her death there too. I didn't know I would feel this way for people I'll likely not have the chance to actually meet, or cry so much when they die. This community has lost a vibrant member yet it is stronger for her having been here. *takes hat off* RIP Christina.

How does one express the loss of a friend?

You can remember the good times.

Remember the experience you shared.

Meeting Christina in person makes it even harder for you had the experience of the physical contact.

I will miss you Christina.

Christina, I will miss you in the chat room but my meeting A great girl at MOM East last year was priceless. I will always remember our pizza get together with Lilac your supportive friend. I know you were dealing with extreme pain and that is gone now.

You are in GOD's care now, wishing you the best.

Well, they had a funeral service Saturday for her. My family went with me. They all loved her as we all did. They did have her in her casket and she looked beautiful, everyone. Her mom gave them a lilac colored blouse to wear to her final resting place. They had pictures up of her EA friends that her and I put in a frame together. They had a picture of her and I that she kept on her desk above her computer where she could see everyday. :) She looked peaceful, and even had a slight smile on her face as if to tell me... "I am at peace now". I just got back from the final service at the church. They gave a "white dove" to her mom to send off into the sky as we all went out to the cars. It was so nice, Christina was happy I'm sure of it. They will have her creamated ( not sure of spelling) and brought back home to stay until her mom passes away, then Christina will go "Rest in Peace" with her mom in her casket. Christina would have wanted that. They were very close. I'm sure it's gonna be hard for a while, for all of us.

Love and Hugs, Lilac
