The Thursday before is a good time, but I won't be too anal about that. If I get stragglers over Friday, Saturday, Sunday, I may post them as I find time.

My choice for Fridays is just so I can attract the most amount of readers for the new stories. I will probably not bother publishing stories on Monday through Thursday though. When I do, those stories tend to get lost in the mix.

When I publish on Fridays, the stories seem to get a lot more attention, so hence my choice.

A big thank-you for publishing me Cainanite. I have some tears just now because it means a lot xo

I've noticed the last couple of weeks that there has been a story each update that I've read before. I'm not complaining, but for clarification is 'new' new to the new archive? I had thought it was 'new' as in newly written stories?

Which stories? If someone is re-submitting old stories, as new entries, I am pissed off. Do I now have to add yet another step to the editing process and look over each story to make sure it isn't already in the archive?

If you want your old stories back from the unedited archive, there is a thread for requesting them to be returned. Otherwise, if you cannot wait for the old stories to be edited, go and read them on the wayback machine.

DO NOT RE-SUBMIT YOUR OLD STORIES!!!!

From now on, if I catch you doing that, I will delete ALL your stories, and not accept any of your new ones. DO NOT make me do double work because you are impatient.

Hmm... I've been watching the updates like a hawk, and not noticed a re-post of an old story yet.

I have read stories here for about 10 years, so I should be pretty familiar with them .

Of course, I could be wrong, but I think (hope!) Wolf-Pup is mistaken.

Cainanites time (and sanity!) is definitely worth saving by us readers doing the double-check on this for him. Let's verify if Wolf-Pup is right, and soon!

There was one culprit, and I have now checked over the others. There are no other problems.

I will be VERY careful about this in the future. The author's other works were actually already edited and were just waiting to be transferred over from the old archive. One already was in the new archive.

Doubling our work will not be tolerated. PERIOD.

If I catch ANYONE, even long time contributors doing this to me, or the other editors of the old archive, I will not be pleased. It is not fair to the authors providing us with new material. It is an insult to their hard work writing new compositions. It is not fair to the ones editing the old archive, and it is not fair to me, who has to clean it up, and edit the new stuff.

If you are missing an old story, go to the wayback machine.
