The name is Alenka (a diminutive form of female given name Alena). Or, phonetically, it should be like Alyonka. Google knows both names

is there a milk chocolate you like better then Alenka?
Russian dark chocolate is hard and the melt point is too high.
Hard to get a real chocolate experience unless you restrain from swallowing.
Is there a Russian dark chocolate you think is not so much as described.
My in laws use to bring tons of Russian candies, chocolates, etc.
I like Russian Cocoa in the blue turquoise box more then any other cocoa.
It dissolves better with less clumping.
Birds Milk is one Russian candy I will go back to, but American Marshmallow is better.
Like the difference between mouse and pudding. Moscow deli is now carrying strawberry flavored birds milk candy. How traditional is that
Thanks again, fhunter.
Anyone for best chocolate syrup on ice cream?

More evidence, School meals should be Chocolate Fortified !
Eat more chocolate, win more Nobels?
". . . examined whether a country's per-capita chocolate consumption was related to the number of Nobels it had won a possible sign of a nation's "cognitive function." Using data from some major chocolate producers on sales in 23 countries, he found "a surprisingly powerful correlation." . ."
BTW did anyone ever experience Ben & Jerry's "Chocolate Therapy"?

This could probably be explained by relative affluence of a country. More money=more chocolate.

I wonder if those same countries drink coffee? Drive big cars? Have pro Sports? Have a McDonald's? Drink Milk? Have clean running water to drink?
Yes, I see your point,
River who is on a diet from eating to much chocolate. (is it to early to have some?)

When I was on Atkins I would put some Cocoa powder in a little cream with a tad of vanilla and 'Equal' to taste
got my Chocolate fix and did not lose my ketones.
I preferred it to any of the sugar free chocolate confections that are now out there.
Be patient. A sugar free chocolate fix does hit but takes longer,
like the diff between mainlining and snorting.
There are also some pretty decent sugar free Fudgsicles out there.
No ONE tried "Chocolate Therapy" Ice Cream by Ben & Jerry's ?
Al least I can feel the luv

with Chocolate.

Election night. <sigh>
Sipping straight Chocolate Syrup from a cup is a consideration.
No I have not actually done that. I am looking for a pleasurable Chocolate O.D. tonight.
I may do it with some heavy duty, fortified, home made cocoa.
Suggestions for a Maximum Chocolate O.D. that has been used, repeated and desired.
So YOU can eat the cocoa powder first before suggesting.
