I have just logged into the EA having not had time for a while and I was dumbfounded and deeply shocked to read of the awful loss of such a good person at such a young age. Riverwind, tatula and all team leaders here and friends I pass to you and to the memory of Bboy and to those close by him who loved him, my deepest and saddest condolences.

Alas I didn't know Bboy either, but I know he was in the hospital. I'm curious and I'm sure others are to about what was the cause of his hopsitalization?
I hate to see young people die but I'm also going through Alziemers (er whats his names disease) with friends and family members.
Yes friends there are worse things than death.

George,
Talula has already answered this in one of the threads on Bboy and if you search you will find a more complete answer. However, the short version is: asphyxiation caused by an allergic reaction.

It takes a long time before the hurt just becomes a dull ache. Hang in there Talula, just try to remember to good times and not the end.
LOL

You are correct Colin and perhaps I need to stop crying, but I cannot. It is my great fortune that I have such good friends here on the Archive, here at my home, and close-by via the telephone.
Time will heal all wounds but this one is soooo huge that it will take time as you mentioned, before it becomes a dull ache.
I know it is difficult for many of the readers to understand why I continue to be so upset, but when you have met a man such a Bboy and become friends, and do some of the things we did together, a part of you dies with him. In my case, a lot of me died the night he did. This is not the way Bboy would have wanted it, but sorry Bboy, it is the truth.
There is not a day that goes by that I don't feel like falling down. I fell down the night I learned of Bboy's death and I had two wonderful friends who picked me up and tossed me into bed. I strive not to fall down again. This is my duty, pleasure, and obligation to the Archive, Shannon, work, friends, others.
Thank you again from the very bottom of my heart colin for answering georges question as I have very little energy at this moment and need alot of personal space. Soon I'll be back as strong as ever.

Tal,
One of the legacies which Bboy left was a community of friends. Don't be ashamed to accept help from those who can give it. While they are helping you to recover from the hurt, they will be hurting too and you are giving help to them as well. Surely this is the best way to honour the memory of someone who helped so many by providing this board.
LOL

Sorry not to have heard of BBoys death before but my computer has been semidead for three months so I have had troubles getting out in the world.
Another of my friends from the net passed away in September and we had a wake for him over the net and it was my first virtual funeral but as my friend lived on the east coast and I live in Sweden I wouldn´t really have been able to go to the real funeral.
Greetings
John
