Sent a little bit to help. I'm not the biggest fan of the story archive, but I would greatly miss the forums.

I'd say don't bother changing the host file. The Fiction Archive is already down, and the rest of the site will probably be transferred over to it's new address in a week or so.

If you are already here, and posting, you've done all you can.

Apparently we are short on funds for buying into the new hosting site. Best thing to do would be contribute if you are able.

If you can't contribute, see if you can pass the word on how to get back to the EA to any members you see missing.

I'm not speaking with any authority here. I'm sure River or Kristof can give better advice. It just seems best to wait for the new hosting site before making changes to your host files.

No need for that. It works immediately after saving that file.

Donation sent. The ethanol injections thread kept me sane in the last year, and to me is worth thousands of dollars more than I can contribute.

Thank you to all the mods and everyone else.

Woo hoo! News of the good!!!

The spot has been gotten, we should have it all cleared out and ready to go by tonight. That means I'll be working over the weekend to get it going.

It looks like a nice little spot for us, but it will take some time to get it going. If all goes well, and stays on it's course, find us at eunuchworld sometime this weekend.

We are 2/3 of the way to our goal as of 20 minutes ago. Very appreciative of the support. This place is too valuable to let it go down the tubes, and all of you are helping to keep it afloat. Thank you!

You know I like it mean and hateful <yum> 👅

Moi's check in real name goes out in tomorrow's mail. Being on a life time pension and knowing how poor some folks here are, my $250 is no doubt regressive compared to the donations against income of others. Sort of Republican.

And they call it Dope to enhance the nicotine and alcohol industries.

Not one cancer associated with Marijuana use. Conjecture and speculation only. No demonstrated clinical studies and you know they try real hard to justify the pseudo prohibition.

I've heard of people dying from alcohol poisoning, ever hear of that for "dope"?

I do hope someone gives River a doobie real soon for private use. I would recommend River starts with the light, leave you functional flavors such as Lavender or Blueberry. More head, less body then say, Pineapple Express.

Any flavor recommendations for River? Pass them on. Maybe if we get an address we can send him buds. That would be fun.

Kristoff,

thanks for working out the e-mail contacts, reputation tag delivered.

Hope it is not filtered into Spam folders because of a large send. Y'think? I don't know this stuff.

Moi, among other things, you do make me laugh.
