it has been three weeks since my castration. there is not much to report in the way of side effects. the hot flash last week was the only one i have experienced so far.

my senses have been heightened, taste and smell most notably. the hotel i was in last week didnt have any laundry soap so i went to get some at the local store. as i passed down the soap isle i looked for my generic powder soap but i realized how good everything smelled. i looked around and thought hmm i will try the lilac vanilla scented liquid in the purple bottle. it made my clothes all smell great. but i guess it spilled all over the floor and when i woke up i put my socks on and slipped in the soap, i didnt think much of it and headed off to work. that day i had to supervise a concrete job. long story short i got my shoes all wet and as i walked away i noticed a sloshing foamy sound. i looked down and my shoes were extruding copious amounts of bubbles from the lilac soap. i got a lot of funny looks but i smelled FANTASTIC! castration heightened my senses but hasnt effected the randomness that is my life.

one thing that people forget to mention in the lists of side effects is; getting hit in the balls doesnt hurt as much. example; when i roll up an extension cord i wrap it around my forearm. the length of the cord+how tall i am+the size of my arm+the speed of the cord whipping around all add up to create the perfect storm bringing the plug end of the extension cord into what i call the "bingo zone." (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mV1LWhNp ... re=related) that storm brewed the other day and instead of putting me out of commission for 5 minutes, it actually felt kinda good.

my sex drive is sort of puzzling me, it seems to be bi polar now instead its previous manic state.

three weeks is when dr kimmel recommends taking the stitches out, but i am still getting a little bit of drainage so i am not sure the cut if fully healed. i can wait but i am looking ever-so forward to taking them out. when the long end of the stitch pinch you, it feels like taking a sharpened pencil and poking yourself on a sensitive part of skin. i have to take minute to adjust as i make that "yeah im having some trouble in my pants" face. if anyone has any advise on the stitches coming out please let me know thanks.

one thing i did not mention was the lack of orgasm. while reading over the side effects i really failed to grasp this one because it was not imminent to my well being. the lack of orgasm is a very exciting thing for me. i am just elated by this new development. it just adds exponentially to the spiritual side of castration. ahh sexual stimulation with no real gratification.. now i know how all my ex girlfriends felt.

4 weeks in and this week was strange. to be blunt, i do not feel any different. my sex drive was the same, if not higher, than before my castration. the one hot flash i had was the only one to date. my strength is still with me and i worked 12 hours today without even thinking twice about it. i can still concentrate well and multitask. i asked 4 of the most honest, upfront people i know if i seemed depressed lately and they all said no.

i took the stitches out on saturday and the wound wasnt fully healed :-\, i still havent been to the gym yet so im gaining weight.

Hormone changes are hard for the patient to observe in themselves (I think) and lots of it can be slow and subtle. Hang on. Its gets more complicated...

You're pretty young, which means that the changes you experience may not be as intense, and that they may take a longer period of time to fully play out. A lot of young eunuchs can maintain a reasonable sex drive and good energy levels. But chances are there will be significant changes in time that you will be able to see and enjoy (although some of them may not be so fun). You will just have to be patient

It has been well over a month past the operation and you are part of the eunuch family. It takes a special type of person to become one of us. Most do not have the balls to be one. One thing about joining us is it is a life time membership. There is no un-joining once you are one. You will have to learn the secret hand shake at one of the MOM events.

Outside of your wound taking a little longer to heal them most, it seems that your castration was very average.

About the only way you could become famous in getting a castration would be if they found maybe three testicles, or some other medical oddity. Other than that they are about the same.
