My attorney just called to tell me the court date was tomorrow morning in the neighboring community of Redlands. He said I ddn't have to appear and he'd represent me. I trust this guy.

He did say, "at the end of all your court proceedings the final bill might be $500 but I don't expect you to pay it until you have an income."

I swear this guy must be related to many I know here on the Eunuch Archive :)

A few weeks ago a friend offered to give me his used car but I turned him down since I'm not licensed to drive in California anymore but I do have a California ID card. Gee, I feel just like a migrant worker except I'm not getting paid even inferior wages.

My attorney said he'd call me tomorrow to tell me what occurred in court.

All for now.

This is MacTheWolf signing off in rainy Southern California. Yup, rained for past four days now.

An angel disguised as a lawyer? Now that's unique!

My mother's lawyer, the one who wants me to paint the house, replace all the carpeting and fix all the plumbing, called and said she wouldn;t be in court today because she's stuck in the mud due to heavy rains :)

I'll assume that gives me an extention to get more done on the house.

I have been without a printer for a week now and my other source for a used Brother computer for $35 never got to my house despite several pledges on his part to do so.

On the plus side: I called Target, a department store in town and talked to their computer department. They sell new printers starting at $24 on up to $99. That's my kind of price range.

Just to be sure it will fit my iMac, I'll bring along my old USB cord with me to see if it fits. Hopefully tomorrow, via the bus.

It means leaving mom for 90 minutes or so but hopefully she won't kill the cat or burn down the house. Especially the house burning part. Our homeowners insurance expired.

Be sure to hang on to the cord. Printers dont generally come equipped with them.

Mac,

USB is USB is USB, all the printers use the exact same cable.

I guess I'll wait for a new printer tomorrow. I have the $ to get it today but I forgot to pay the Time Warner Cable bill and if I do both errands the sameday I'll be gone 3-4 hours from mom. She panic for sure.

So I leave now to walk a lil mile to pay the cable bill and walk back (60-90 minutes) and go by bus to get the printer tomorrow.

Being without a vehicle sucks - LOL

Cable bill is paid but the 2.4 mile walk took 90 minutes. I must be getting old. Damn, soon I'll catch up with River (unless he's driving his Jeep Cherokee).

After three hours away from home, I made it to the store, bought a Lexmark Z1300m color printer for $30.00.

I haven't hooked it up yet. Had to feed dog, cat,mom and self.
