Again, your mileage may vary. For some they tried at 10 days they were still sore. You can adjust as you go but I plan to start at 14 days and take it down from there if needed. I'd also submit that for some, they may remain sore even if the swelling has gone down.

I went to the hospital this morning to get a suspected problem with my left ureter checked out. The dic doc found nothing at all that was wrong.

He said all looks good

It was a painless procedure and to think I had a man shove a rather long probe up my penis. Sounds like some heavy SM play

Ok, managed to get the left one injected today, it only took .3 cc before the pressure started to build, not wanting to end up like last time, I left it at the .3 I don't think the left one has much longer, but as long as it still has feeling, I'm still gonna keep poking it.

Interesting to know I am not the only one considering the injection of alcohol (I will choose Vodka, this way I can drink the rest later !) in one ball only, I decided to inject in the left ball (why not !) soon. I'll let you know as I do it, how I feel etc, please patient, just a few weeks to go and I'll be back.

The consensus of the thread (and I've read every post from every member) seems to be:

1) If you can't drink it, don't inject it.

2) Use a high proof, clear alcohol. Everclear seems to be popular. The lower the proof, the more injections you'll need to have.

3) Amount: Anything less than .5 is wasting your time and anything more than 1.5 is overkill.

4) Wait for the swelling to go down before injecting again. While your mileage may vary - it could take anywhere from 9-14 days. Injecting while you still have swelling leads to pain.

5) The smaller gauge on the needle, the less pain at the injection site there will be.

6) Don't inject anything for pain as you shouldn't have any. Using something topical (on the skin) is ok at the injection site.

7) When you get the needle where you want it, pull back just a bit to see if blood comes out from the injection site - this means you hit a vein and you should pick another site.

8) Before you inject anything remember this is permenant. If you haven't tried chemical castration first, please do so. Siterone works nicely. If you don't like it, stop taking the drug and you'll return to normal. If you try alcohol castration first and don't like it - you're screwed.

9) Be prepared to take the rest of the day off. There will be swelling and some discomfort. Doing this and then going to work is a bad idea. Some recommend a jock strap for support so that testicles are being supported and not just dangling.

10) Don't reuse needles and please wash the site prior to injecton. You don't want to get an infection.

Following these rules means you will be fairly sure that this is what you want, and you should be bidding a fond fairwell to your egg shaped friends in no time.

Six or seven days beween shots was OK for me. Its only when I rushed matters and the swelling hadn't fully gone down yet that I felt any discomfort. The rest of the times that I injected it was a rather nice heavy, warm feeling afterwards that lasted maybe the rest of the day or so. I only injected over the weekend or if I wasn't working that day just in case I injected in the wrong spot or had any complications, however.

I have not read any postings here, or any info on the web, regarding the effect of alcohol injections on sperm count. If the leydig cells are damaged sufficiently, or destroyed entirely, since they produce testosterone, we know that we will experience lower or little testosterone hormone in our body. But what about sperm production. Is one completely infertile after 1, 2, or more injections. You would think so, but I have seen no info on this.

Of course if you are not interested in having sex, not able to get an erection, and can not ejaculate, the whole topic of sperm would seem irrelevant. But not really. Men who have lost their penis due to injury or disease can have their sperm collected directly from a testicle, and used to impregnate a woman's egg. Lack of testosterone thus does not necessarily mean a man can not produce offspring. Just how dead are the balls following alcohol injections. I have not even seen any such lab studies on this topic, just on the effects of alcohol on testosterone.

Of course there is ample data that shows men who simply drink lots of alcohol have lower testosterone and also have erectile problems. Injected or by drinking, alcohol kills T. What about sperm?

Well, my testes have shrunk to half their size already. I dont feel anything when I squeeze them either. Still hard to believe it all happened in just 4 injections! The swelling has gone down in just a few days since the last injection. Going to do the 5th injection this week. And I love how they stay pulled up inside of me now. Its way awosme! Some people have asked if there was any pain involved in the first few injections. Only in the first injection, I had some pain in my balls but I took some Excedrin and in like 6 hours it was gone.. No biggie.. I never experienced any other pain. I wish everyone luck in this adventure! hehe

It would be great if some of you who have already completed alcohol injections to relate your longterm experiences here.

Since I had transitioned from Siterone directly to the injections, I've not noticed much change between the two except that I now seem to have a bit more energy. The little interest in sex and having no sexual dreams continue for me. The biggest difference has been some swelling of the breast and hard nipples but that might be because I stopped taking Tamoxifen when I stopped the Siterone. I haven't had my T level checked yet since finishing with the injections to compare it with my level when I was on Siterone, however, which was around 100 on my last test.
