I am thinking of pushing the boat out- well someone has to make the first move!- and I am thinking of booking a suitable venue for a meeting most likely in the Midland area as it is most central. I need to get over my recent illness first, but I would suggest a date in September perhaps? I would book the venue (and pay for it), and all you will have to do is turn up, and pay for your own drinks!

Now then, who would be interested please??

Me, too. With or without a bar. It's the work thing which is always the problem.

... and I could (and would want to) be there. Keep a note of everyone who expresses an interest, and let us all know how things progress!

If possible, I should prefer that the venue is within walking distance of a main-line station. I live in the south-west.
