This is something I'm actively working on with my therapist. I feel male, I prefer male pronouns, and I present as very male/masculine. But I've never felt "right" identifying as a man, and my body has never felt "right" with a penis attached to it.

Assuming all goes well, In 4 months, I will undergo my penectomy to "fix" the alignment of my body to my identity, which is "nonconforming male"—basically male, except my maleness doesn't involve having a penis.

I consider myself pretty much just a 3rd gender. Don't like the man/woman distinction at all and I can see that I am by no means alone on this. Society expects men and women to behave a certain way and that is a big turnoff for me personally. It is a good thing that this is gradually loosening up and people can be more themselves unlike in the past where they had a much harder time. We're not there yet but we're heading in the right direction.

I identify as male, even though I have a desire to be nullified. I want to retain my male attributes such as muscle mass and body hair by the way of HRT. I just want to be a male with no male genitalia.

There are a lot o' guys that feel identical to you.

I am a man and in the new year will be seeking a surgical castration to become a eunuch. After that I will still present as male but will identify as a eunuch when and with whom I feel it is appropriate - the choice will be mine.

I came across a term which really resonated:

"Boyflux is a gender identity in which a person can feel mostly or completely male most of the time but experiences varying degrees of male identity. For example, one could feel 0% (agender), 50% (demiboy), 100% (male), or anything in between. The intensity can fluctuate over any period of time."

I'm not interested in labeling myself that precisely (besides, "boyflux" sounds like an awkward euphemism for cum), but the state it describes is absolutely me. I go through long stretches of feeling 100% male and long stretches of feeling closer to agender. At those times, I say "I occupy the male metropolitan area."

I present myself socially as a male.

I think of myself as a modern day Eunuch.

I was castrated about 25 years ago.

eunuch should be another gender category, LGBT should be LGBTE

Many states have adopted non-binary gender option for drivers license, how many of castrated would choose X, not M as gender?
