I was 15 when I learned about castration. My family moved from California to Arkansas. My dad bought a place, then he got a few goats. He banded some of the newborn billy goats,,,,

As young kids helping with livestock, we started by herding and selecting out the livestock that would be castrated and those not being castrated. The men doing the cutting told us only the males with the best genetics and physical features they wanted to have in the animals will be allowed to keep their balls to breed the best high quality offspring for resale. The males with less desirable physical features would be castrated to keep them from mating and having babies at all.

As kids we shrugged it all off as who cares. It was a big deal when puberty hit us and we learned how great and pleasurable our balls are for sex and jacking off and making us grow into men and changing our bodies that we finally realized how much those castrated males were giving up and missing out on by losing their balls.

We all knew men who got fixed to stop having any more kids. Men openly talked about going to the dr to get fixed and some already being fixed so they can t have any more kids. That was a normal thing for men to do and there was no shame or embarrassment in them doing it. So as kids we all knew men can decide to get fixed. It took us asking those fixed men questions to learn that they kept their balls and only got a few tubes cut in their scrotums to get vasectomies instead of cutting their balls off. They made sure to emphasize the differences to us between getting fixed as a man verses getting castrated as an animal. But there were always lots of jokes and mock threats to castrate each other between men and among boys. So, the idea of castrating men and boys was always there as a joke and threat when we were growing up.

It didn t turn into a hot fetish idea until puberty came along and what we found mildly interesting as non sexual boys suddenly turned into a boner raising idea in an instant. Once we experienced what intense pleasures our dicks and balls gave us, and enjoyed the high sex drives and we started getting the much wanted and eagerly awaited body changes of puberty, our balls suddenly became one of our most treasured body parts to be protected and enjoyed. Then castrating and getting fixed took on all new dimensions for us with us being in puberty ourselves. We all knew and overheard that older men got castrated pretty often for getting prostate cancer. And we knew most of our dads got vasectomies as soon as they had all the kids they wanted. So all of it made sense and fell into being the normal thing for men to do. Hit puberty, get married, have kids, get fixed, then get castrated when you got older. All that made perfect sense to us as boys and even more sense when we experienced puberty and orgasms and ejaculations ourselves. We all knew and kept track of which men we knew were fully fertile, fixed, or castrated. They all looked the same on the outside to us kids. So, getting fixed or castrated seemed like normal steps in most men s lives and something to expect we d do to our own balls some day in the future. It was just what men do at different ages in life. We all expected our balls would do the same when we got to those ages. And that s exactly what it has been in real life for most of us kids as grown men. Hit puberty, get married, have kids, get fixed, and we are still too young for the castrations to stop prostate cancer. But that time will come, just like it did for our fathers, uncles, and the men we know.

cutnbulls I like how you put it fits right with how things were for myself growing up on the ranch in a mountain ranching community.

Sparkey49,

Thanks ! Glad to hear that was how you grew up and that I described it accurately for non farm and ranch raised people to understand. I m sure way more of us farm and ranch raised boys, teens, and grown men do have a strong fetish for castration than most city boys and men lol. But why not ? Balls are fascinating and how they affect us males is amazing to experience and learn about. Castration is an amazing thing in how much it affects all male animals so much. Us included lol.

I think for boys growing up with livestock its a pretty common way to learn about castration and there was no embarrassment in it. Men talked about it openly and it was just part of life.

I can remember being ordered not to harrass breeding livestock and not to make loud noises or startle animals having sex. It was vital to raising livestock to breed successfully and that breeding was money in the bank. We were used to our animals breeding openly and no shame in sex. It was natural from being young kids growing up around animals that sex was just the way to create all new life.

Talking with farmers and ranchers today I find that the men into it as a fetish only share that with the men who they know share their enjoyment. I was talking with a group of men and one guy told a castration joke about cutting a man. We laughed and I mentioned how great balls can taste when they are cooked right. No one thought that was odd or unusal. But later on, the most masculine man among us talked to me when we were alone. He said his whole family and his sons and wife all love eating bull and calf balls. He told me a nearby fire department has a big festival cooking up fresh cut calf balls once a year as a fundraiser for their small town volunteer fire department. He said I should be sure to go next time they had it.

He didn t want to say that in front of the whole group. Just one to one with me.

Hi Cutnbulls

Interesting that you and your friends thought of castration as a natural part of life for older men. As for me, when I was a boy I didn't understand that there was a difference between vasectomies and castration. I'd hear about men going to the doctor for a vasectomy and it would really freak me out! 🙃 I thought they were having their balls cut off and that they wouldn't be having sex after words. ✂️🔪

Yeah, we did too, but it didn t even freak us out since so many male livestock were castrated to not make any more offspring. It seemed natural men would manage their own balls and reproduction just like they did with their livestock. Even though we knew some of our dads were fixed to not have kids anymore, we didn t get to check out their scrotums. The men laughed when we d ask how bad did it hurt to get their balls cut off. Then they d explain it was just cutting the sperm tubes in their scrotums and they still had balls. So, we asked why don t we do it that way with livestock ? Then they explained testosterone aggression, handling problems, fighting for mates and dominance fighting, getting out of fences to go breed nearby females, and the other aspects of castration to change male animal behaviors that men didn t need. And how men didn t want to lose those masculine traits and body features like muscles, strength, hairiness, and enjoying sex after getting fixed to be sterile. That sounded really good to have done to us kids. All the fun but no making babies ! Some of us wanted to get fixed at puberty. But everyone said you had to wait until after you had kids. That didn t help us in wanting to enjoy seedless sex with girls our age and older girls lol.

We d over hear so many times about older relatives and local men being castrated for cancer. It never seemed to work since most of them still died from cancer. And you could see older men losing muscles, strength, speed, sex drives, and weight just from aging too, Plus, we knew older stud animals and breeder males got sold for meat when they were replaced by younger studs who could breed better than the old male breeders. It made sense seeing the local younger men having newborn babies but not many middle aged men and no older men having newborns. Breeding was obviously for the younger men only. Most men stopped having newborn babies in their 30s or 40s, some in their 20s if they married young and started having kids at really young aged like in high school.

Even now, in spite of sex ed classes at school, lots of boys and teens think vasectomies are castrations since people talk about both as getting snipped, cut, fixed, or neutered in talking among themselves. I ve explained the differences between the two to boys and teens many times. Usually when they over hear us talking to a man who recently got a vasectomy or a man about to get his vasectomy. That s when they ask if his balls get cut off.

I remember being at the local gym lifting weights with my junior high friends. A man came in and was talking to his friends. He just got a vasectomy and it was his first time back to the gym after healing up. He must have been the first man to get a vasectomy among his friends. They were all asking him about it and he was going to show them his fresh scars in the locker room. I wanted a vasectomy and I wanted to see his fresh cut scars and hear all about it so much ! I asked my friends to follow them into the locker room so we could hear all about it and see his fresh cut and fixed scrotum. My friends said why would we want to do that ? They weren t interested and wanted to keep lifting weights. I was pissed that they wouldn t go and eavesdrop on him and his friends. We were the same age, but they were too young to care about getting fixed. I wanted to get fixed a lot ! But going alone was too obvious without the excuse of being with my friends. So, I missed out on that show and tell lesson because my friends were too young to be interested. I wanted to learn as much as I could about getting fixed and hear all about it.

When I was 11 or 12 I would have liked it had castration/nullification been offered to me (and to other boys) as an option. I'm 99% certain I'd have decided to keep everything. But even so "playing with it" would have been much more enjoyable had I considered its removal and declined the offer. In other words going through puberty would've been more fun had I known that I'd chosen to be male as opposed to having my maleness thrust upon me by an accident of birth. ;)

Hey, that's because we find out how expensive the little critters are. And they wreck your cars, too.

When I finally understood what a emasculation is, shortly after my circumcision, I felt both relief and disappointed. I really thought that option was on the table, I was freakishly disappointed to see again my glans after the circumcision. Today boys are lucky to have porn, at least they can learn something, is something wrong but better then nothing!
