Hey Chesleyt I dont have an answer for you. Spoke to my friend today. He has a recurring bone infection in his lower leg. The doc has just identified the resistant bug. One pill and he is much better and on the mend. I wish that for you. My experience has led me to doctors trying to 'protect and save'. I suppose flogging a dead horse is the best acronym I can attribute? They, the docs, mucked around with my balls so much that I had to almost plead to them to take them out. Even when they agreed to do that, they said it wouldnt be guaranteed to stop the pain. It was a difficult decision to ask them to castrate me. I had run out of options and know my body better than them. It worked for me. I am now a pain free eunuch. Not ideal but it works for me. Probably not much help for you, but I pray for a resolution. B

Got script for yeast infection drugs. Got two stitches out and the last of the drains removed. Learned all the rest of the stitches will resolve by them selves don't have to see Dr for three weeks. Have pain on left side all the way up to the groin taking over counter pain meds 2 Tylenol and 2 ibuprofen left testicle and cords are still swollen since 12/29/2018 and he thinks the swelling will go down I Know my body and that suckers a gonner it's doing the same thing as the right side but I have to play his game.

Went to ER today with groin and abdominal pain had ultrasound and CT left testicle is alive and well and not the cause of the pain but I do have cellulitis in the scrotum infection and got a shot of antibiotics and a script for it also, pain is from the pain meds causing constipation fillings my colons and stopping the contractions. I'm now taking stuff for that now and won't be taking anymore prescription pain meds.

That s good news on your left testicle !
You ll need to keep your dr updated on the continuing scrotal infection and any changes in the medicine you are taking. Plus keep seeing your dr frequently to keep a close watch on your scrotal infection to control it and try to kill off any and all infections as soon as possible . And to make sure your infections do not start spreading to any other parts of your body.
Its very good you went to the emergency room to find out what is causing your pain and get fast treatment when your dr s office is closed. Good luck with your healing.

Today swelling is gone out of the scrotum and it is peeling. New problem now I can move scrotum my left testicle has adheared to the inside of the scrotum on leg side and at the insisions site and the testicle is in a position causing pain even when supported by underwear and the insisions is still leaking clear fluid in several places. I guess I will have to call the urologist in the morning and let him know that is going on. I think the new antibiotic has the infection under control now. I think he is going to have to open up the left side again to release the testicle from the scrotum and I'm not going to do it with out anything this time!!!!!!! Also found out that I have a shadow on my left kidney and blood in my urine need to have that addressed too.

Its vital to stay in close contact with your dr as you handle all of these things and make sure your dr is made aware of any and all drugs and treatments you are getting from all your different health care sources. You want to make sure none of your medicines or treatments interact adversely or counter to each other.
You are probably correct that more work needs to be done on that testicle and your scrotum. But there should be no reason to avoid pain killers or numbing up the area to correct an adhesion of the tesicle and scrotum.
Hopefully with the infections under control and with you staying under close periodic checks by your dr, your body can start to heal up. Best wishes on getting well.

That's strange they didn't prescribe anti constipation tablets right from the start. Every time I have been prescribed opioids there is a second script for those.

The testicular pain is back like before the surgery that I have experienced for 29 years I'm doing everything I can to try to keep the left testicle being it is healthy but I don't want to live in pain anymore. I got a jock strap to help keep it from moving because it causes more pain I just don't know what is going on?
