Glad your back safe and sound, as for the shell casing I don't see a problem with it I guess they did not either.

I do hope you loved your trip, but its always good to wake up in your own bed.

If you put this on a wishlist that maintains your privacy, I will purchase it for you.

If available for shipping to the UK, in reason.

I hope the next time you visit Texas you take in some of America too. 😄

For super forests like "Once Upon a Time", see Humboldt County and maybe Slammr's area.

For modern Paradise, the coast from San Diego to Malibu.

Many really appreciate the La Brea Tar Pits. A well kept secret natural wonder park & museum, ask River.

For shooting, best stay in Tech<gag>HAAS

Glad you had a good trip. PM or upload if wishlist is accomplished for a Texas memory.

:)

I don't mind whichever bed I wake in, as long as there's a certain somebody in that bed with me. For a few nights, I got that.

Eh no thanks I'll pass on that snowglobe. I have actually been to California before. I'd love to visit again but you see the problem is USA is so darned big, I need a lot of days there. A lot of days = a lot of money spent on hotels. Also, so damned big = needs a car to get anywhere unless you're right in the middle of downtown. In Texas I had to cross an interstate highway just to get to a target across the highway. Most damned terrifying thing I'd had to do in a good while. You got to remember the USA is bigger than the entire Western Europe.

If you had been closer to Houston, my best friend has a fully automatic Tommy Gun that I could have arranged a trip to the gun range for some shooting. Shooting .45ACP on full auto can be expensive though. Especially if you load up the 200 round drum. Glad you had a good visit to the US and the Republic of Texas. :-)

i dont worry about the expense. Loading up a 200 round drum mag sounds painful, if my experince of loading up pistol mags are anything to go by! I'd forgotten how stiff some of those springs can be in mags, not to mention I've only previously loaded up 30 round AR15 mags in the military.

Actually, the drum on a Tommy Gun is very easy to load. I even got my company to give me a day out to do some preliminary ballistics testing and they paid for a whole bunch of ammo including 9mm, 45ACP, 30-06, and .223. Was a fun day!
