"Hey, J, I have a job for you. I'm sending back to Earth today.Open up all the graves and bring me back the Righteous. You might run them through a car wash first, though, to clean off the stink."

That's a theological question that's part of the articles of faith.

There is one God with three aspects: Father, Son and Spirit... However, they are one and not three separate entities.

It's a belief, a part of faith... It isn;t really logical or explainable.

YOU have discovered Gnosticism.

You might wish to read the Gospel of Thomas now.

Each Christian sect or religious order had what is call the 'Articles of Faith' each one will describe the trinity.

Some say God the Father, God the Son and God the holy Ghost, The oneness of God.

Others say God the Father, his Son Jesus and the Holy Ghost, One in purpose.

There are other variations of this but basically they are saying God Jesus and the ghost are all one in the same or the other school of thought is they are 3, one in purpose. Now its funny how many good church going Christians have no clue what the articles of faith are for there church, and this is usually the first of those articles.

What is fun is to get a whole stack of them and read through each until you find one that is most of what you believe then look to see which church it belongs to. You might be shocked at what you find.

He's back.

Claiming that the Rapture did indeed happen on Sat, just in a spiritual way, and the real end of the world will occur on October 21.

Basically, the Greeks and their need for the body and the resurrection of the corpse won over the Gnostic more spiritual group as thrived in Arabia, Egypt and Africa before the Muslims.

The Gospel of Thomas is either the oldest or second oldest archeologically authenticated manuscript of any Gospel. Apparently the Greeks did not like this Gospel as evidenced in our common Bible today. And stories of, doubting Thomas. <physically verifying Christ's spear wound>

Blame the Greeks for the confusion!

I used to think "Rapture" had something to do with either one's 'first' or 'best' orgasm :)

Well, now, be fair...it will take at least that long to spend the $70,000,000 plus however much more they suck in along the way.
