My Doctors have advised me against any stenuous labor, but I guess I am too hard headed to pay them any heed. Before I retired I was in the electronics profession and that required little if any, but here at home I tend to over extend myself doing work around the place. For example, I recently removed several large trees and split the wood myself. No ill effects. I also manage to manhandle a 1100cc mororcycle. I attribute my stamina to regular exercise which includes walking at least two miles a day. Not bad for a 67 year old Eunuch. I swear that being a 'Nuch keeps you young.

I found the movie on the internet "LAI SHI, CHINE'S LAST EUNUCH". Its a story about a poor chinese family that had a boy and girl. The boy always played with friend the part of a eunuch. He talked his father into castrating him so he could work for the king. Eunuchs made good money and he was able to support the family. Castration back then was the removal of all gentals, penis and all.

If this was China he would have been employeed by the empirial palace, and indirectly worked for the emperor, not the king. And it's not always a simple as removing the genitals of a submissive male. Eunuchs had to be trained as accountants, servants, laborers etc., They had to carry the emperor around the palace and he could be quite cruel to them. Only a small percentage had direct contact with the emporer or access to his inner chamber.
