It's a small episode of Dave Craps on a movie...

I'm scrolling through the movie list to see what to "watch" (read that as leave on the TV to be ignored because I hate silence while I do housework)... and I come across the listing "ROLE MODELS - Unrated, Uncut Special Edition" ...

First off - Role Models is a tasteless and stupid movie about two idiots after being convicted for some idiotic crime while drunk being sentenced to "help out underprivileged kids" -- (like that is in any way sensible) -

Second - the movie mocks sobriety, nerdy kids, and historical reconstruction advocates (those people who joust and cook medieval food) (or those other people who parade around playing Civil War Between the States)

Third, Unrated meaning there's some nudity (like who cares) and cursing (I already know the words and at 68y/o, I don't giggle at them anymore)

Fourth, "Special Edition" what of all the tasteless horse-shit in this 110 minutes of trash requires expansion and more scenes to "flesh out and enhance" the story or the reprobates it presents as characters?

Venting Over

Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) says:

“A lot of parents don’t know this,” he said. “If you play ‘Frozen’ backward, it’s actually a shot-for-shot remake of ‘The Exorcist.’ That would obviously enrage a lot of parents."

His Daughters are 4 and 2y/o.

He also says that when watching them "blinks" are like tiny sleep periods.

When I was in eight grade, the Nuns who ran the school suddenly discovered that they had to teach the "new Math" of Set Theory.

I sat in my seat as one of these rather bitchy Nuns struggled to teach simplest set theory problems on the black board while I did the answers in my head in mere seconds. It's not that I'm the best at Mathematics (I can comprehend the math of Quantum Mechanics and a bunch of advanced theory.) but Set Theory and what was called "New Math" in the mid 1960's is simple basic math.

At that time, Set Theory was new in mathematics and these teachers hadn't a clue what it was or how to teach it.

Sadly, eventually they overloaded the class with algebra problems in preparation for the State of PA's test. So it became a lesson in how to be proficient by rote.

If "lipstick on your collar" can get you in the dog house, then I suppose "Ring around the penis" is deadly.

There's a man in Eastern Pennsylvania who has an emotional support alligator living in a plastic pond in his living room ...

He says that he feeds it chicken wings. I do, (strangely, oddly, idiotically, disgustingly) wonder what alligator scat looks like.

Does Purina make alligator chow because just chicken wings cannot be a balanced diet for an alligator?

Also, I wonder how often is the water in the pond changed?

Does he have wall-to-wall carpet and is his floor rotting?

I wonder if he will invite EA wanna-be members for skinny dipping parties. (in Brazil piranhas are known as capaburros or burro castrators because when the burros go wading or swimming, guess what hangs down in the water).

Coincidently, I have a mounted Piranha from Brazil.

A many years ago, when my Father managed a bowling alley, he was given a mounted piranha by a good customer who had just come back from consulting in the Brazilian Amazon. It's about 7 inches long if straightened out. The fellow told my Father that they caught them with a chunk of bacon on a hook - - drop it in the water and lift it out when the piranhas chomped down on it. He said those little fishies died biting.

And the teeth are pointed out of the jaw so that the tips point backward when they close their jaw. So once bitten, if you yank the piranha away, you rip out flesh along with the fish. Nasty evolutionary trait...

added: one day soon, I'll get pictures of it and post them.

I think we should all declare tomorrow "National Stay in Bed and Read a Book Day."
