There are many reason for men to get castrated. For me it is that I can better control my sex drive and that I am an ideal bottom for a lot of gays when castrated.

Are you still interested in bottoming Bernhard, when castrated? One of the most enjoyable and productive sides of it for me, is the total loss of interest.

I wonder if the question is phrased correctly. One way would be, "Would you object to being castrated." The other way would be, roughly, "If the function of your testicles could be performed internally, without needing to have this sensitive part of your body external and exposed to injury, would you still prefer having them outside?"
I think most men would say "No" to the first question, "Yes" to the second.

I have talked online with a few men who never want to explain or discuss why they want to get castrated so much, or what their goal is in getting castrated.
Obviously the first thing that you think up is that maybe they have strong sexual urges that would get them in tons of legal troubles and ruin their lives, like rape or child sex abuse. Problems and urges that they want to prevent. Men who desire castration, or who would benefit from castration for these kinds of reasons, should be able to walk in and get free, safe castrations on request to prevent these kinds of crimes. This would easily save their future crime victims and also these men from all of the trauma sexual crimes produce. One simple free and safe castration could save taxpayers lots of money in police, court, and prison costs. Implant a pair of artificial balls in their scrotums and give them lose dose testosterone, and even their female sex partners, families, best friends, and gym partners would not know they were castrated.
I wonder about part of your comment. In several articles discussing chemical castration of sexual offenders, I've seen the argument that malice and violence is in the brain and not in the balls. This sounds quite reasonable to me.

The injury and medically neceassry castrations seem to be the biggest reason men would regret their castrations. What has caused you to now prefer being a eunuch ?
After the initial shock of loosing my balls abated I began to enjoy what some have called the eunuch calm, an almost zen like feeling. I notice my daily tension subside and my temper basically disappearing. I remained sexual and yet if my wife was not in the mood Id just give her a kiss and forget about sex, where as before I would get mad and pout for days. I felt more in control of my libido and not driven by it. I did not like the empty scrotum but once I had it removed the smooth area became very erogenous. Them my wife said she was really enjoying having a Eunuch for a husband. I was a better, more attentive lover and without testosterone driving me she had no worries Id leave her for a younger woman. Theres more, but thats basically why Id never want balls again.

Seanthomas ... understand your change. Mine was due to a mutual decision with my wife (mismatched libido). But, we experienced all you talked about. Have not removed the empty scrotum. Has been about ten months since my orchiectomy, seems fine having the extra flap.
I recently had to go back on testosterone due to bone strength (cracked bones). In two weeks will start on a bone-strengthening injection (after my dental procedure) which should allow us to go off of the testosterone. I am sure my wife will also be more at ease.

Yes, TRT did not agree with me. Swollen prostate, excessive hemoglobin and mood swings as well as other unpleasant issues led me to pursue low dose estrogen as an alternative. It takes the male body some time to grow accustomed to estrogen and Ive read its like going through puberty again. However, once settled you feel good, have protection against osteoporosis and the mental fog of being without any hormones. The down side is increased boob growth (already a side effect of castration) but Id rather have boobs as a compromise for strong bones and a sharper mind. Now as for the scrotum removal that was the best decision I made after the orchiectomy. Its incredibly comfortable and highly erogenous as a bonus. And personally both the wife and I prefer the smooth appearance. But in the end it all boils down to personal preference and if you like the empty scrotum by all means keep it.

I ve read similar articles. But common sense tells me that males before puberty with low testosterone and limp penises are not rapists and rarely child abusers. Those sexual aggressive actions start after testosterone enables sexual functions and sexual desires. Castration without adding any testosterone after neutering would be alot like puberty in reverse. The loss of all sexual ability and desire might not cure anger problems. But it would likely make those anger problems less sexual or non sexual anger or impossible to sexually perform unless the man retains his sexual erections and desires with no testicles and no added testosterone. It would de sexualize a significant number of gelded men.

I think most men would say "No" to the first question, "Yes" to the second.
I agree that many men do enjoy having balls externally for sexual pleasure from touching and handling them and the great pleasure nerves in scrotums and testicles and nut cords. If they were internal like ovaries, men would lose those intense pleasures.
Most young males engage in sack tap games and contests with other males to hit and be hit in their balls during puberty. This is both desiring the intense pain of hits in their own growing gonads and liking to show off how much of a man they and their friends are to everyone, measured and openly demonstrated to all onlookers in how much pain their testicles feel now that they are maturing into men.
Would you object to being castrated ? No. I m guessing this answer of no would come mostly from men over 45 who are done making babies and have enjoyed decades of sex. Most boys and younger men would object to being castrated. At least until after they finish impregnating and having babies as much as they want and enjoying years of great sex.
If all men with wives past menopause could openly have sex with men or younger women, with no guilt or hurt feeling from their wives, I would bet that few men would choose castration.

I agree that the most enjoyable and productive sides of
castration *could be* to be calm. At the moment I cannot judge because I have not yet been castrated.
