Do you go through psyco therapy before this drug will be prescribed by a doctor?

Has anyone used Androcor and does it work well. What dose level have you used. I like the idea of chemical castration being temporary in case I don't like the feeling of lack of (I am looking for).

Well, I am finally able to vote in my own poll. :D It took over 3 1/2 years of chemical castration before getting physical castration. If you view the results you will see I am the only one in the poll that has answered over a 3 year time period. It's been a long wait, but well worth it. It has given me much time to make the desicion that was right for me. I hope others consider chemical castration for at least a year before deciding on the real thing.

I was under the impression that taking Androcur was reversiable. I mean that after a years time on it, you could stop taking the little beige pills and eventually return to your hormone ridden self? am i wrong or what? please tell me?

You are Wrong, but if the time sent on Androcur is less than 6 month maybe a Year, it maybe fully reversiable. But the time span were it's fully reversiable varies and is different for each person, and the admount of reversiably reduces with the time spend using Androcur after 6 months.

Search the WEB for Androcur and find the product sheets. That will give you all the data you will need, including the side effects.

It is generaly thought that you will regain hormone production after a short trial run. Keep in mind that although testosterone may return, it could cause infertility. And remember each person reacts differently to chemical castration, so YMWV (Your Milage Will Vary).

That sounds like a pretty positive result (sterility).. How large a doage of Androcor (10mg, 150 mg twice a day or ???) are necessary for the elimination of testosterone and how soon can I expect the results....I relaize YMWV. Is it possible the effects could be permanent so I don't have to keep paying the "drug store." Cheers, Rushsite4

I decided on one year, I used a drug (not yet approved in the USA) called Androcur. It had the right effect in that it gave me a chance to experience what being a eunuch would be like before going to the doctor. I would recommend it but I also know that others want something different for there castration.

Remember if you are using any drug make sure your doctor is monitoring your condition throughout the process and after.

Have fun and play safe.

Good advice. How long did you take Androcor and was the effect pretty quick? What dosage did you take and how ofter. By the way I enjoyed your PICs on BME/Extreme Nullo. I recognize the tophies in the bottle. (or someone with the same nickname) Cheers, Rushsite4.

Although Androcur was not my drug of choice, most will tell you to take a large dose, 100-150mg/day, until the effects are desired. Once that has happened, most will usually reduce there intake to a maintanance dose (aproximately 50mg) to maintain the effects. It's probably best to split the dosage and take it twice a day.
