Mine came back as 15.1 nmol/L

Which if I’ve correctly converted it using an online tool = 436 ng/dl

Which according to Dr Google is the low end of normal.

What was yours?

Alldaychemist shipped my Androcur & Tamoxifen today…

I placed my order on the 11th Jan so the whole process has been a bit slow (mostly due to the money transfer), but as long as I get what I ordered I’ll be quite happy.

i am 55 and mine is 668.I was surprised it is this high actually. I dont have much body hair, not very muscular, have more hair than all my friends and people are often surprised when they find out my age. I was still getting carded into my 30s, and my wife got very upset on a couple of times she was asked about her son , me. I am still waiting for my Mamofen or whatever its called.

Just goes to show how different peoples bodies are. It will be very interesting to see how our experiences compare.

As I’m starting from a low-ish T level I’m going to follow the doctor’s advice and start at 1 x 50mg a day Androcur, and only go up to 100mg a day if it doesn’t seem to be working.

The Tamoxifen (Mamofen - same as you) I’ll be taking 1 x 20mg a day.

I already have a fairly low libido so this combination should nuke it entirely. I’m just hoping that I don’t have any side effects serious enough that I have to stop the medication.

Just got home from the UK this afternoon and my Mamofen was waiting. I am itching to start, but i have a medical in March. I might try and get it done this month then start. When are you planning to start Zebedee? Would be interesting to do it together.

Hopefully starting in about a week to ten days time. My parcel is currently sat at the local sorting office and I’m expecting to receive a card in the next day or two advising me how much customs duty I have to pay to receive it. A quick back of an envelope calculation tells me that I’m likely to have to pay about £40 duty. I don’t have a problem with this - it’s better than having customs returning it to sender!

So, once I’ve sorted that out I should have my meds by the end of the week. Anyway, there’s no rush as I’m having a wisdom tooth extracted on Thursday and I expect it’ll be a few days until the pain wears off, and I don’t want to take co-codamol on top of the Androcur & Tamoxifen if it can be avoided. Probably wouldn’t do any harm, but as I don’t yet know how the meds are going to affect me I’m not going to risk it.

I’m trying not to be impatient, but it’s difficult!

First dose taken… 1 x 50mg Androcur & 1 x 20mg Tamoxifen

Wish me luck!

I’m thinking that I’ll write a blog about my experience, as much for me as anyone else. But maybe others will find it useful.
