OHhhh NOoooooo ! :(

What of the E.A. Entitlement?

A minimum of a daily upload of the adventures of the day.

Moi :(

I bet River isn't even going to telephone about Rupert and talk to Rupert on the phone.

Even if Rupert pretends not to listen.

Will and way, River.

Will and way.

If I can get on line I will, and will several times over the next couple weeks, but once the first of the month comes round I will be off line until our house arrives.

Moi, when ever I have traveled I always call my kids always. I do this for a couple reasons, it lets them hear me so they know I am still alive and that I care about them, its a love call for them. Plus Rupert is going to a home he knows, with people he knows, where he will be loved just like he is at home, it is his second home, or home away from home. So PLEASE, stop.

I just had to cancel the cell phone number that I gave my Mom a dozen years ago when she had her heart surgery.

And speaking of cell phones --

you could give someone in the states your cell phone number and they can psycho-call you 4 or 5 hundred times a week to ask "Are you there yet?"

AS a bet, I would be willing to wager that the governor or New Jersey is still making news when you get back online (ain't that a depressingly ugly thought)Â… I suspect that all politics will not change in the time you are traveling. --- Isn't that an even more depressing thought.

It's like OMG I'm missing the news - YAY! Those "effing" fools are screaming at each other a half a world away (Dat Da POINT Jack - half a world away!) In the cold and dark yet too.

And just think how boring the weather report will be - Warm and Sunny, Warm and Rainy, Warm and Sunny, Warm and Rainy, No more ice, sleet, no more screeching cars skidding on the ice, no more panic buying toilet paper and potato chips before the 6 inches of snow hits -- and no more shoveling snow. Or boots, or mufflers, or scarves, or furry hats with tassels, or down jackets.

And when you go swimming the water won't turn blue if you pee in it. The fish beat you to it.

But there is this spider thing, big ones, creepy ones. I recommend shotguns or flamethrowers or grenades.

Quite possibly an asbestos ladle with molten lava poured onto the errant spider would exterminate it --

or maybe a platoon of Daleks with chlordane covered bathroom plungers

Now that would be a sight

But tell me - are there any "real" hawaiians who walk around in sarongs or grass skirts and flower leis with no undies? I'll bet that's just a rumors to excite the tourists in their bermuda shorts and loud plaid shirts.

But that's enough for now. I've balanced out my three serious "tasks" for the day with enough silliness.

Some days the only thing standing between you and lunacy psycho-dialing Art Bell is a few crazy brain cells called imagination.

wink, wink, wink

Well Christie has been in the news for a week now with no end in sight, the weather will be warm, shorts and sandals weather, if it gets cold at night I guess I will need to close the windows, as for bugs - Geckos every house has them put water out for the little guy and he will keep your house bug free. Even after all my stuff get there I may not unpack the TV and computers for a while, both my son and I plan to try and sample every kind of tropical fruit they grow on the island and that includes over 60 kinds of Mango's. I can't wait to try a red pineapple.

Fish 3 or 4 times a week, a Sushi kit will be one of our first buys. We plan to live simply no frills, off the land where possible and just enjoy knowing that I will never ever shovel snow again or be cold or need to change plans because mother nature is dumping 6 inches of snow on the ground, sideways.

Try score the Sushi Making Kit when you are in the Bay Area.

I believe they have a high density of Sushi consumers there and those who make their own.

Just a suggestion.

Everything being more expensive in Hawai'i because it is shipped in.

Moi 🚬

Try the Google Shopping function. It has a store locator.

😱 No Lutefisk in Hawai'i 🙄

Today started at the Vets, got all the paperwork, what needed to be mailed was mailed. Next was UPS to have them box up my TV, and to get two boxes one for a PC and one for......... I wrote it down but could not find it, OH well it will come to me later must not have been that important. Back to the house load that 100 gal fish tank and stand, plus extras. Off to Talula's house, 2 hours later the stand had been cut down new top put on tank in place my back needs a chiropractor, lunch and back to UPS to get my TV, still can't remember what I wanted the third box, later. Home walked in the door, Nelly and Rupert ecstatic to see us, looked at the kitchen table, saw the tubes and staff, remember the third box, back to UPS for two more boxes put together to make a long 6" square box 6 ft long. I am done in, Patt had a NOS so he has more energy then GOD but I am fading, back hurts and Patt wants to pack boxes, so 15 more boxes have been packed, the old tube TV that needs a color adjustment is now set up because the flat screen is packed. Its not to bad the center has the correct color, the left side is blue and the right side is green which makes people look funny but its only for a couple days.

So here we are at 9:30 at night, I am done in, and one more good day we should have everything packed, with three days to spare.

Not bad.

Thanks Mac, I will be on through Sunday then it will be hit and miss.

The good news is I got a new muffler on the truck today, I figured it would be over 600 but it was better then I thought, 510$ including pipes.

I am now down to packing the kitchen and my desk, Patt is over with his ex for a last visit before the move, he will miss his little guy but it wont be forever.

I am making a care package for my next door neighbor, things I wont take that I know they will use, like humming bird feeders, (
Riverwind (imported) wrote: Wed Jan 01, 2014 1:22 pm there are no hummingbirds in Hawaii
). I also am making a care package for Talula, things like glasses to fill in his set, stuff I am not taking that I know they can and will use.

so three more full days and about one full day of work, things are starting to shape up the pets are more upset then ever.
