I've had a concept for a story or stories kicking around in my head for a while that's vaguely along these lines, but I haven't thought it would be on topic here (or really any other fetish site I know because so many of them have no-animal policies) because its sort of an anti-castration concept. The idea would be to build a fantasy around situations where one does castration in 'real life' (e.g. horses) but doesn't do them in the fantasy world. So maybe the story could be about a bunch of equestrian women who need to sexually service their stallions to keep them happy. Maybe to keep the story 'on topic', I could introduce an element where men in the world are castrated instead? Or maybe do it as a furry story where the horses are characters to? or maybe some of the horses are castrated and some aren't?

Haha. Well, you've hit the nail on the head as to why this is still a story concept. I still think it could work, given the right setting/framing. It feels tonally consistent with some hentai or furry stuff that's out there, but you'd need to be careful not to lean too hard on that framing or else the story concept would just be swallowed into furrydom.
