Be really honest with your dr about how you feel and any problems or worries you have. It will help him do his job better for you. I m glad to hear your dr will be closely monitoring you and seeing you for frequent wound care and watching your condition carefiully..

I will and I did talk with someone about how I'm feeling emotionally and it's helped Even though they are not a professional and I have somebody else I might be able to call who lost their testicle to decease to talk to.

In some situations brute honesty might work best. Don t be afraid to ask any questions of your dr. You are battling a very serious infection. Be your own advocate to be sure you get top care and very cautious treatment to be sure this infection is fully killed off asap. Maybe using a number of different antibiotics at the same time to kill a wider range and varieties of germs quicker.

I think the infection has been killed off what I had done was the removal of necrotized skin and and an encapsulated hematoma with a pocket of uninterrupted infection that didn't get into my system. What has my bothered now is my left testicle has been the size of a flattened tennis ball for 24 days now and is still rock hard. I see the doctor tomorrow to have the packing removed and replaced on the right side and new stitches I'm going to ask for an ultrasound to see if it has a rock in it too.

Went to the doctor today and he removed the packing and found a little bit of infection and removed it irritated it and it came out clear cut off some more dead tissue until it bled and it hurt then closed it with 2 stitches no numbing again removed the left drain and stitch. Talked about pathology report right testicle died from infarction and calcification from repeated damage from chronic epididymitis and orchitis. Left Side pathology report epididymitis enlarged showing hormage and repeated damage from chronic epididymitis vasdeferens were normal nerves were normal. Doctor said left side won't be able to have infarction because he removed the epididymitis testes might not go down in size calcification from chronic orchitis is likely but extent of damage not know as yet. I will keep at him I know it's full of calcification and cells are dying and being calcified now and I want it gone. He just wants me to get better right now and we will deal with it later.

Your dr probably wants to be sure all of the infection is killed before he does anything else. He does not want to stress your body any more than it already is. He is trying to save your left testicle to keep your fertility and testosterone production if he can save those.

I'm feeling better today I'm on antibiotics started last night made sure to eat food with it and took probiotic this morning and and had yogurt with breakfast. Started different pain meds this morning also and I feel better and it even stopped my migraine that I have been having since last Friday. I am looking forward to recovering and getting my strength back and we can deal with what comes with the left side later. The left side already stopped producing sperm at 23 and testosterone started to decline at the same time because of damage from chronic non stop epididymitis and orchitis staring at age 19. I started try at 28 years old because of ED.

Hey Chesley. Really hope you are feeling better. My path was the docs, kinda floundering around trying to deal with the 'less than 1% guy'. They can write you off on their own levels of comprehension, and 'good' intent. I'm an engineer, on alot of levels and interests. You have endured multiple of levels shite . Not your "fault" and not theirs. I know you will have peace soon. You fully deserve it.
