Something strange has been going on.

Maybe it is the solstice approach and the involvement of spirits.

My 15 sunbursts were never restored after being reduced to two with no comment in CP before the system was turned off and now, even my two sun bursts are gone with no comment in CP.

I tried to atta boy you Mac but, it said I gotta pass it around.

So I gave some to Ernie who has always been nice to me and noticed only an approve box exists.

I was able to send Ernie a message with the approval.

Did it work, Ernie of Maine?

:-\ Maybe off was best once we all got use to it. Y'think?

"Nya nya nya nya! I got more stars than you do!"😄

Doesn't that sound rediculous? Immature? Just wrong.

This is why I am not too fond of stars and pips and such. Sometimes, even the most simple minded fool comes up with something worth reading, and sometimes the most brilliant of us spouts out a bunch of worthless drivel.

Is worthless drivel made better because it is accompanied by a bunch of stars? And are wise words made foolish for the lack of stars?

I confess I do like the points system for some things, but I always remind myself the all postings merit at least a quick read over - even if they are written by people without a bunch of stars.

I'm just old fashion, if a system exists, it should be an honest system.

Not like my H.O.A.

Then again I am reminded of Albert Ellis, "Guide to Rational Living" and try remember when I feel, 'it's not fair' - Ellis advised: it does not matter.

I do value this Board and the community and enjoy the PM's.

I enjoy communicating points of view with members around the world and respect any member here is above average intelligence.

For the grief I have cause over bad posts, I have apologized. My social lubricant has never been the greatests and with familiarity formal social filtering seems to fail me.

For my part, this Board has helped me deal better with being a beta heterosexual male and the social involvement like extended family.

For the Board's part, please look at the Threads I have fostered.

Down to the Weather.

Besides my check that should have been recently received, I like to think I have contributed to the vitality of this Board.

But, above all, if we are going to have a reputation system. Let it be honest.

No evaporation of sun bursts without comment.

I hear Albert Ellis telling me it doesn't matter.

<sigh>

I changed the pip count yesterday. No one lost any points. Just means you have to have a few more points to escalate from green to gold to starburst.

I just kicked you up a notch so you'd have a star. And by the way, contribution to the community fund has been received. Thanks!

Where is the Star Redemption Catalog. I could use a coffee maker. Can I use the green pips for shipping and handling.

You better not pout, you better not cry, you better not shout, I'm telling you why, Star Claus is coming to town.

I'm feeling the Love.

Don't worry. Be happy. We will all collect more stars in time.

P.S. I will add some for you now. 🧑‍🎄
