when i went in for my one week checkup..doctor said dam it puckered..being a farmer i cared for it myself..it healed in a couple of weeks
looked kinda ugly for a year...now 11 years later you cant see it at all..i have to look in a mirror to get a good look
point being...give the woulds a year or 2..dont obsess over how it look s now..time will fix it

Your all making me very pleased that I had mine done with an Inguinal approach rather then slicing open my scrotum.
And not by

Dr Kimmel....

Mr. T I agree with your sentiments. I also am glad that

mine were removed via the inguinal canal
s. After 3 years, I did get my scrotum removed. No sense in having that loose skin hanging there.

Thanks to Kimmel... I have surgery scheduled for December 11th to fix Kimmel's mistake.
According to the x-ray doc, my x-rays are clean...

Thanks
A little over 3 days before the surgery. I will post an update after the surgery when I am recovering.
Good luck and prayers all around.

I may have to get a 2nd opinion, because my urologist talked with Kimmel and somehow, kimmel convinced him that this is normal heal-time and normal post-op stuff...
I am calling my urologist tomorrow (when he is in) to see about rescheduling a surgery date as he cancelled my surgery for this upcoming thursday for some reason. He only said, according to kimmel, "The sutures I put inside take 4-6 weeks to dissolve." so long story short, my urologist said, "It should heal up in another 4-6 weeks" and "give it time"...
I am so severely depressed right now, I cannot begin to describe it. Both physical pain and emotional pain are both at the very top of the spectrum and I cannot take much more.

Good luck!

Go get another opinion. My impression is that Dr. Kimmel spouts a lot of nonsense. I'm no doctor, but your photos seemed to show that the internal sutures had also failed.
Both my personal physician and the urologist that I was referred to, did not like the manner in which I was sutured by Dr. Kimmel. The urologist said that the wrong type of external sutures were used and that the healing should have been faster than the 6-weeks that it took.
I. too, suffered much emotional distress and unnecessary pain. Hang in there!

I will be scheduling a meeting with another urologist just for a 2nd opinion within the next few days.
At this point, my surgery has been cancelled by the doctor. I have another appointment with him on the 16th to see if it is healing any more. Today marks day 49 I believe. By the time this next appointment happens, I will be at day 56.
It is not healing hardly at all... Nothing else to relay at this point.

It might just be time for chain saw action. ER and loud insistence on action. Tell your doctor what he needs to do. be pro-active. When my doc doesn't listen, I rev the saw and carve up some ass. I usually get the action I want. As for current urologist, downl;oad and print some of the horror stories about Kimmel and bring them in. Get insistent he read them. Maybe then he'll get his head out of Kimmel's ass.
(How about that kind of talk, Blegajevich?)
