I got mine and I am working out how I can get there. The trip down on Amtrak isn't expensive.

I have sent out an e-mail with information about accomodations. Let me know if you are on the list but did not get it.

It is with heavy heart I share this news. I received a notice inviting me to jury duty for the grand jury. I will be reporting every Thursday for three months. My plans of attending the MoM were to travel on Thrusday to see a few sites and be rested for the wine and cheese party. Not knowing if I will serve I am hesitant to buy a plane ticket. At least now I have proof the government is interfering with my pursuit of happiness. I will miss everyone.

Last time I got called for regular jury duty, I just ask em where the gallows is.... Grand jury? Tell em to come on, bring on the politicians we're gonna get.

Hi tboyer,
If I can manage to go at all, I will be taking the train
and they do the driving for you. My problem right now is covering the cost of the hotel and meals while I am there.
Any way I though briefly about driving down but my old Porsche has no air conditioning and only gets about 25-28 mpg. It's about 1,000 miles round trip so I estimate the fuel bill would be around $167. So it looks like a car would have to seat at least three people before reaching the break even point, and then you still have to do the driving. Anyway the train kind of sounds like fun.
