It looks like 0°C to 5°C is not the best weather for opening rollerskating season. :-\

But it looked sunny and warm... Looked, until I got outside. I had enough after only 30 minutes.

Too cold and windy...

Do tell, what temperatures are those, and don't forget the "feels like". 👅

Especially after your early Spring and :( deficient Winter.

WE still have another ten days of possibilities for a Blizzard Thread upload from you, don't we?

One can only hope. Because we all choose to live in our Paradise.

The ten best places for a retired person to live, on the cheep, provided you don't mind giving up a few things and living in another country, the weather will be great year round,

the list.

Ecuador, you can live there for about $800 a month and they use the DOLLAR as their money.

Panama, a little more expensive but the weather is better then Moi's.

Thcum Mexico,

Colombia,

New Zealand

Nicaragua,

Spain,

Thailand, my favorite, you can live there for about $1000 a month, the best 4 months of my life were spend in Thailand. Thinking about it I just might go back.

and

Honduras for about $1400 a month.

All have great weather, many have social plans in place to add you to their heal care system.

Keep in mind, if you want all the things you have in the USA don't move out of the country, but if you are ok with a simple life and cheep good food, one of these places might just be in the weather system your looking for. NOTE: all are better then Moi's.

Thailand, sigh, cried when I left, never wanted to leave, I must look into this further.

My friend who went swimming and drowned at a gym pool loved Thailand. But, now a Thai wife has jumped out of the wood work.

I understand there are a few months of the year you don't want to be there. The monsoon season? ?

Also I do not breathe well in humidity.

New Zealand is the only place I would consider today outside of America. It is like the California of the Southern Hemisphere. Well at least the Central and Northern part. Similar to Portland, I like what I learn of the people and how life is there.

Our blustery rain storm barely delivered a wetting in the gauge that had nearly evaporated by morning. Now it is 60F, 45% humidity, 29.98" and not that cold evaporative air that sucks the heat out of ya. Clear and sunny. The storm did add to my water up north.

The garden is confused by it all. Promising radish sprouts have yellowed. The Boysenberries and Blackberry got flowers galore. No baby fruits. The awakening cherry trees have been frozen in time for nearly too weeks. Actually more like very, very slow progression, likewise Loquat and Avacado.

Hot sunny weather is good for somethings.

Will Western Wisconsin receive that late Spring water heavy, snow blizzard?

We can only hope. ;)

One of coworkers from previous job migrated to New Zealand, saying that he is fed up with Russian authorities and their political course. That was about 9 months ago.

What does he report? Does he like the weather there? 😄

Because of their government health program they do not let anyone immigrate.

Bravo N.Z. they have an immigration policy. What did your friend have to do to be "accepted"?

Moi, I was in Thailand during the monsoon season, it was great. About 2pm every day the sky would be clear not a cloud in site, hot humid then 15 minutes later thunderstorm rain I mean lots of rain 3 to 4 inches for about 30 minutes, everything is wet, 3 inches of water on the ground, the rain stops. you look up and there is not a cloud in the sky, over the next hour your steam cleaned, as the 3 inches of water on the ground evaporates but its no longer humid. Wonderful, I was there 4 months, it rained every day. But that is not why you move to a country, its the people and the Thai people are the best in the world.
