Thanks to a member who attended the MOM I have three new pictures of Rupert. I can't wait for him to arrive I miss him so.
But I don't have my own place so he can't join me yet, he is safe and happy were he is, I could tell by the pictures.
Thanks to talula and Gemm for watching my little friend.

I'm sure Rubert is missing all the attention he got during the MOM. I think he was petted by everyone there.

Izzy

is the difficult one.
Thin and wiry and always pulling away when you try to hug him, not like the big fur balls OFBK and Solly.
He has long curled claws that click on vinyl floors and catch on everything else.
A morning outside event for some grass eating and

keeps accidents down to a minimum in house.
For about a year he wasn't keeping much of anything down and curled up all the time.
I discovered feeding him kitten food made a big improvement for all cats. Smaller pieces I guess.
Love time is difficult with Izzy

although he receives treats no other kitty but he appreciates.
His only cuddle time is for 10 minutes when I get in bed. Otherwise, no interest although we do communicate.
All cats are older than 16.
Suggestions?
How to get love time from an autistic cat.
Well actually he is with Solly all day. So he has his one.

I had to share;
since by Ode to Izzy above, some 2 weeks ago -
he is a much more social kitty.
Although life is always in his peculiar, Izzy way.

Doesn't anyone have any kitty news
and reviews to share.

OFBK :kittygray caught herself a big rat today and ate it all. No leavings.
It has been months since I witnessed that and figured she was too old (16+) and fat to bother.
Not so. I do believe fresh hill meat is her favorite meal.
She has one of the sweetest personalities I have known for a cat.
Pretty much, always, willing to make a friend.
She is also hanging with the

brothers more, Big Solly who she use to torture with territorial demands, and little Izzy. They sit in their big circle, facing towards each other, communing as cats do.
Doesn't anyone still have a cat ?

Yes, my cat is living with talula and gemm, my room mates cat is such a sweetie, a small cat that likes to curl up in your lap, the cat I am baby sitting likes to get his share of scratches but tonight he did something new. I was watching tv and he decided to get on my lap, demanded I pet him then fell asleep. He has not done that before, I felt so honored.

Ok. So today I decide that Spot the cat (henceforth known as Dipshit McGruder) can join me out in the studio while I do some pottery work. Everything is fine and the cat even tolerates the roommate running his table saw. Then Dipshit discovers a 50lb open bag of Edgars Plastic Kaolin (a very fine clay also known as 'china clay' to some) and climbs on in.
Never let your cat get covered in clay dust. Never, ever.

Are you going to fire him now?

Once time when my doggie (a ten pound fur ball) was alive he decided to go for a walk on the fresh tar and chips on my road. He wasn't too bally or furry or even cute when I got done chopping the tar and gravel from the fur on his legs and tummy.
Another time, he decided to roll in the deer flops. Of course he went right to the laundry sink, soap, water, and wash rinse wash rinse wash rinse.
He even started to answer to shit-head after a few days, so I had to quit calling him that just because.
It's not good to have a dog answer to shit-head in public, yanno.

Solly, the big

has only accepted :hearthrob time from me since he was a kitten and never a lap cat.
On a trip away from home leaving care to a trusted home and cat sitter, I nervously telephoned to find out all were well
and Solly was curled up and sleeping on his lap.
Imagine my disappointment
Dave,
"We" know YOU do NOT like cats.
How about reviving the dead dog thread and maybe Nellie reports will keep it going.
