I'm now two weeks post op from my breast augmentation procedure and I'm doing GREAT! The bandages, tape and sutures have been removed. I still have some bruising on the lower side of my breasts toward the arm pit area, more so on the right side than the left, but hopefully this will fade in the near future. I've been wearing this wonderfully fashionable surgical bra 🙄 for almost two weeks now and I can't wait for two more weeks to pass so I can trade this "granny" bra in for something sexy from Victoria Secrets. 😄 The only problem I'm currently experiencing is that my nipples are sore from being erect all the time and rubbing on my bra. The PS said this is very common and they will return to normal in about a month.

I did go through my dresser drawer last week and gathered up all of my old bras and gave them to a clothing charity. I was surprised to see that I actually had eight different bras of various sizes. My collection and progression on hormone therapy. 😄

My boobs seem to have grown a bit in the last week or so. From the research I've done this seems to be normal for the under the muscle placement of the implants. It appears that as the pectoral muscle stretches to accommodate the implants the muscle relaxes and does not compress the implants as much as at first. The term used for this is called "fluffing". Kind of cute...like a pillow! :) Since my follow up visit with my PS from last Friday, I have now started the daily massage routine. I have to do this for 5 minutes every day for the next 2 months or so. This is supposed to help the implants drop into the pocket that the surgeon provided for them as well as to soften them up, which is part of the "fluffing" process.

I did measure myself the other day for the first time since surgery and I'm currently a 40DD, which means a two cup size increase for me.

I'm thinking about doing some shopping for a new bra as well as a few new blouses this weekend as some of my tops no longer fit me.

Well I just had to stop wearing that surgical bra today. There are two seams sewn into the lower portion of the cup areas that have just irritated my breasts something fierce, especially my left one, so I'm trying to wear a D cup bra that I've had for a while instead. It's definitely too small for me, but being that it's too small should provide the same support and compression that that nasty surgical bra is supposed to do. Besides it's also a bit more fashionable too! 😄

Erica Ann those breasts sound lovely. Show them proudly. I would be satisfied with "C" or possibly "D" sized ones.

EricaAnn (imported) wrote: Mon Aug 13, 2007 8:46 am Hi Everyone,

It's been awhile since I've posted
so I thought I'd check in for a brief update.

I'm now 2-1/2 months post op from my breast augmentation surgery and things are just great. Been doing my daily message and they have pretty much settled in to their final position. The incisions have almost completely healed now and they look just great and they make me feel absolutely wonderful. They're the prefect size for my frame and build and my final size is now a DD cup.

I finally got very very tired of my short hair and based on it's length, it was going to take a very long time to grow it out to the point were I was going to be happy with it, so after consulting with 3 different salons that specialize in hair extensions I finally found one that could do extensions for me. I spent almost 10 hours at this salon last Thursday doing corrective coloring and having a full set of hair extensions installed, but it was well worth the time and money spent. They look great and I now have hair that is about 4" past my shoulders. They should last about 8 months and at that time I can either have them redone or start wearing my own hair again depending on how much my hair grows during this time. I just love them! 😄

We also made a trip to the college that my youngest son attends this past Friday to spend his 25th birthday with him. The evening proved to be far more exciting than it should have been ending with a 3 hour stay at the ER of the local hospital there. We took him out for dinner where he consumed a nice meal along with about 4 beers. After dinner he complained about not feeling well and got up from the table to use the restroom. He got about 10 feet from the table and passed out. He fell to the floor landing on his shoulder and since he was apparently unconscious when he went down his head also struck the hard tile floor.

I rushed over to him and found him unconscious. I gently picked up his head a slapped his face several times to bring him back to conciseness not having any smelling salts. He came back to but began to go into shock. By this time the manager of the restaurant was by my side so I told him to get my son's feet elevated, which he did. He had also called the paramedics who arrived shortly. He was placed on a back board and a neck brace and rushed to the local ER. After performing a CAT scan on him to make certain there was no head injury, it was determined that the problem was caused by a low blood sugar level. His reading was 65 when he arrived at the ER but was back up to around 94 an hour or two later.

He was finally released after about 3 hours. We then proceeded to take him back to his house where one of his roomates agreed to watch over him for the balance of the evening. We saw him again on Saturday morning and he was doing much better. His neck was still sore and will be for the next few days, but thank goodness he is okay. Needless to say, it was quite a scare. :-\

Hi Everyone,

I know that I have said this in the past, but I've just got to say again how good it feels to finally be able to live my life as my true self. Not pretending to be something I never truly felt I was meant to be, that being a male. To finally be like most other people, that being gender congruent or being comfortable in one own body and having what's inside match the outward appearance. Not having to try to be macho or tough when I felt timid or shy.

God, life is so good when one can be true to themselves! :)

I'm alive and doing well.

Life has been going along very nicely having transitioned well over 4 1/2 years ago. Surgeries are all done and I only go in once every 3-4 months for electrolysis now and that's fro a little bit of clean up to the few stragglers that still remain.

I never have any problem anyone with being challenged as a "guy". I now simply "pass" as a women and just kind of blend in with all of the other women out there which is very nice indeed.

I'm still married to my partner of 35 years and our relationship is just as strong as ever. My youngest son graduated from college this past May and is now living with us at home. I also bought myself a new car this past spring. I do truly love driving that black Mustang GT convertible around town especially in the warm weather! 😄

I'm looking forward to getting back into the forum more often in this new year and hope all of my friends out there are doing well. :)
