Yep its cold here too, sundown at 4:30 sun rise at 7:30, oh yes for summer again. So how is old Mitch messing with your time? did you guys go on day light saving time and not tell anybody?

And yes my balls are still in a jar which I might add is a good place for them.

I like the shorter days and blacker nights. A sunset near 8PM is just too damned late. Someone should lite a fire under that sluggish Summer Sun.

A nice sod soaker rain moved through in the early AM hours until mid afternoon.

"They" say periods of rain until Tuesday but, my hunch is this 1/4-1/3 inch was it until next time.

My sweet shelling peas are sprouting. I think maybe my previous failures was due to sprouting too late.

Please explain,

I wonder 💡 why frost is needed. 😄

Seriously, please explain "frost seeded". 🙏

Moi

Loving rain, short days and my garden.

Please quote me bitching about short days.

Has Weather become like the Political Discussions Forum? :(

Wrongfully representation?

Moi likes Rain.

I am an Autumn Winter person.

As lovely as early Spring may be, I see it as the end of my favorite time until next time.

I like the tint of Sunlight seems bluer and less yellowy. The air is cleaner, the clouds more cloudful and not a smaze.

If I were to chase my weather, I might go to the Southern Hemisphere in April or May.

For Truthiness, always!

I can tell the ground is slowly freezing not by the day adn night temperatures but because the concrete slabs that form my front porch and walkways and driveway are all moving into winter positions. That makes the front door tight as the slab rises.

It's important to have this freeze because certain seasonal plants need the freeze, need winter.

Also all the bugs die or go into eggs and/or pupae in the winter.

Moles and mice go underground and deer and other critters eat the berries from last year's growth.

and all the snow we got last week is about gone, now they say it may rain? the weather is so strange this year, we may not even have a white Christmas, I don't know what I am going to do. we should have a couple feet on the ground right now, and we have NONE.

OH MY, I am sure some damn republican had something to do with it.

I can celebrate and be happy at Christmas and New Years without snow.

Honest I can.

It is that after the rain, irritability. I didn't sleep well last night and I'll bet most of the drivers that shared my road did not either. But, they had to wake up earlier ;).

I foresee; clear, too bright 😠 for such a low sun , no clouds or fog, heavy shirt to jacket weather - for this lightweight anyways.

The garden continues to delight although racoons dig up my front yard garden area. I keep replanting the newly sprouted iddy-biddy bulbed white onions.

Riverwind (imported) wrote: Fri Dec 02, 2011 11:23 pm s still shorts and t-shirt weather.
BTW I did not change out of sandals until it snowed, stomping through the snow in sandals is where I draw the line, I don't like wet/cold, dontchaknow.

Yah it warmed up again here, above 32, snows gone, now its going to rain, but after that, Sandals.
