I must admit that after a couple of months of getting amazing sleep, things have deteriorated a bit. I’m waking up needing a pee at least once more nights than not, and sometimes just waking up for no apparent reason.
It’s irritating and I miss sleeping for eight or nine uninterrupted hours, but I’m coping okay and not letting it get to me. Hopefully it
’s just a stage that will pass.

ve bought some mild herbal sleeping pills, after taking the first one last night I
’ve just had quite a good sleep.
Same, it's not annoying me tooooo much.. in fact I can use it as a reason to get my bum out of bed early.. but I might not be so upbeat if this is still happening in the winter and im waking up in the cold pitch darkness lol
Something i've noticed today, which is quite exciting and unexpected..... the skin on the end of my shaft (mostly the underside) and my actual cock head, is a lot smoother and kinda shiny... almost like it's being pulled taut.. but it's not!
Also, I had mild PPP (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hirsuties_coronae_glandis)on the underside of my cock and Fordyce Spots (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fordyce_spots)... which also seem to have massively reduced! Now, i'm not 100% sure if this is related to the drop in testosterone.. but I can only assume that it is.... perhaps they're caused and maintained by the presence of testosterone, in a similar way that acne is, in teen years?!
Anyway, just thought i'd provide that update! Not seen anyone else mention these kind of changes, so I'm wondering how common it is.

Please pardon the doggerel above, but congratulations on a successful beginning!
No reason to apologize for good doggerel.

I'm in my ninth week of Androcur and still getting really good sleep. I hope it stays that way.

Week 7
Another week continuing 100mg daily. I'm starting to notice that i'm lacking energy both in the morning and during the day. Also my sleep patterns are a bit screwed. I'm tending to randomly wake up between 3-5am. It's not so bad if i can immediately fall back to sleep, but quite often I can't. Not a huge deal, but definitely a difference.
I decided to test my orgasms the other day and I noticed that I could get off just as quick (I must have a filthy mind!) but the orgasm was kinda prolonged, which was interesting! Cum kinda had the consistency of pre and weirdly I seem to stay semi for a lot longer. Before Androcur, I'd go soft really quick after orgasm.
The appearance of my dick has also definitely changed slightly, i'm not sure if it's a result of lack of erections, or the testosterone levels, but it's definitely smoother and the bumps have reduced a lot!
I had my testosterone test a couple of days ago, so I reckon i'll get the results late this week (hopefully).

Ive found that the herbal Nytol (new version - 385mg valerian root extract - whatever the hell that is!) helps if Im having a few bad nights. Not needed it for that last couple of weeks, but I keep it next to the bed just in case.
Like yourself my penis looks different as most tiny bumps have disappeared. Skin looks lighter too.
Itll be interesting to find out what your testosterone level is now, from what you describe I suspect that it must be low. Have you considered dropping to 50mg of Androcur yet?
I can still quite easily orgasm if I want to and my orgasms are if anything better than before (and now totally dry), but I seldom have the urge to masturbate. Probably about once every three of four weeks.
Ive developed a new side effect over the past week or so. I have slightly sore nipples! Hmm
Well its a bit of a worry that my body is preparing to sprout a set of boobs, but theres no sign of any swelling so hopefully the Tamoxifen will keep things under control.

Hmm i might give that Nytol if my sleep gets any worse. Right now it's manageable, just a little annoying. I'm surprised at the skin changes! I've never even heard of that effect before.. I was starting to think I was just imagining it!
Can't wait to get the results back... I'm just a little worried that they'll kick off some kind of medical process where they'll tell my GP and require me to come in for a check up lol >.> (kinda doubt it though). I think once i've got my results, I'll then think about dropping down to 50mg... I just don't want to revert back to having T!
Sore nipples sounds scary! Keep us updated on that! I'm using Raloxifene and not Tamoxifen and i've not had that side effect yet...
I went for a 45 minute walk today... the start of the walk was uphill and I noticed that i was getting out of breath pretty quick (I am a brisk walker, but i've not noticed that before). Thankfully after the hilly bits, I was fine... but it's annoying feeling like you're suddenly unfit!

I know, I know. The "see your doctor" advise is offered on here far more than anyone ever actually ever sees their doctor. Nevertheless, gynecomastia is an effect of low T, the use or E, puberty or even getting older. So, most likely you are correct it's the Androcur causing the gynecomastia. But, I'm not a doctor.
Blood work that checks out the rest of the reasons gynecomastia can occur would be prudent. Low platelets can cause gynecomastia as well as a few other things.
So, there, I said it. "See your doctor" and tell him/her that you're taking androcur. Otherwise, you'll drive them to distraction.

Hmm... I suspect TMFL is right; congratulations are in order: no T doesn't make you stronger and maybe gives you a little on your chest.
FWIW, I had both of these things. I exercised out of the first, and the soreness went away after just a little enlargement of the nipples. We think not a big deal, as it isn't likely that you'r headed for a D-cup any time soon! Gnat-bite size is about what to expect.
Welcome!

Don’t worry! I’m ahead of you…
I’ve got a blood test on Thursday for testosterone, liver, kidneys, full blood count, etc., and I’ll be making an appointment with my GP for the results. She’s already aware of the medication I’m taking and I regularly see her to discus how things are going and work out a way forward for me to receive the care of an endocrinologist. She’s very supportive and honestly the best GP that I’ve ever had, I don’t know what I would do without her.
