Two things:
1) there is a 30 minute comedy that I revile so much that I watched Melissa Harris Perry discuss rape at UVa over watching it. It is almost a visceral reaction of displeasure even upon seeing the listing on the Channel Guide. Something I really have to work on to get under control.
BTW - The show will remain nameless because my opinion isn't the only opinion in the world and if someone loves it and defends, I'd probably have bad thoughts about them.
Dave I think your safe in saying the show, yes I took the time to look through all of the listing opposite Melissa Harris Perry and the second I saw the show I knew which one you were talking about. OMG that show was enough to make a person gag even the theme song makes me gag.

No, I never watched that show you are talking about. It is saccharine and over done.
The show I spoke of is new this year and as of a few days ago, old this year. It's run was a half season of trashiness disguised as comedy.
However, like all those "REAL HOUSEWIVES" and "HONEY BOO BOO" and other shows about families that are "southern dysfunctional" that I don't watch, anyone else who enjoys them can watch them in relative safety from the bile I can heap on awful programming.

UNSTOPPABLE is a good movie. Lots of action and believable script. Plus, the viewer can genuinely cheer for the good guys.
The real runaway train incident occurred years before in Ohio. All of the actions taken to stop the train are really possible.
UNSTOPPABLE creates a RR Line in Pennsylvania that doesn't exist but sounds so damn real. It helps to have the locations add to the movie and script.
Don't confuse this with RUNAWAY TRAIN which is an altogether different movie and quite a thriller in its own right. Beware though. RUNAWAY TRAIN is dark.

Earnie,
I'm sure that there is something in UNSTOPPABLE that is not realistic but the story entertains.
After all, that's the reason most people make a movie.

Yes, and guess how much it costs to ship from there to Pennsylvania?
In a week.
Before Christmas
And it's not a pair of shoes (although she is a shoe whore)
That last thing is a joke, BTW. She owns too many shoes but then I own too many gadgets and minerals and rocks.

I've just added RULE #4 to my entire life - No Drone Boning.
In case you didn't know:
#1 - not red (cars)
#2 - no mayonaise (ugly white stuff)
#3 - never appear in front of a digital camera naked ever - absolutely positively NEVER!
and now #4 has been added. Life is getting too complicated.

I said "ho ho ho" to Siri yesterday. It dialed Kristoff's number.

That's the equivalent of pocket dialing or butt dialing . . .
"drone boning" is altogether different unless you fly the drone with your cellphone.
