I called the hospital and they claim he was discharged on
June 8.
I have his home number but, imagine if he were home
he would have checked in with us.
Hope the ref. to discharge was not ominous, considering it is
June 11.
Moi
Anyone want his home phone number, PM me.
I tried the home number, message machine.

After being in the hospital for a couple weeks he most likely is home asleep. Being around all those sick people is draining, give him a couple days. Give him time to clean the house, buy food and throw everything away that was left when he left.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for a person coming out of the hospital is to hire the maids and clean their house.
Send a meal, go wash dishes, simple stuff like that.

I discussed this with him when they were planning to discharge him and then
he was transferred to the ICU and trached.
I cannot imagine him having the strength for self care at this time.

Another option is that he may have been transferred to a long-term care facility (AKA Nursing home). Unless you're the responsible party or he or the responsible party authorizes it, you're not going to get the information where he's at because it is prohibited to give it out by US federal law. The medical community cannot share information with anyone unless they are authorized to receive it, and unfortunately none of us are.

I called the hospital discharge planner, again and
got the tape machine, again .
Then they actually did call me back
Bob3 Ex-BFF has been at an intermediate care facility and did not have the common courtesy to let anyone know.
What is important is that he is beating and breathing and rehabing to take on more well deserved punishments.
PM me for phone numbers.

A worthy Ex-BFF is hard to find.

I was using the wrong phone number to the bedside.
I got the real one.
He sounds good.
PM me for the number.
I know he would like to hear from River.

He called me and sounds relatively chipper, applauding the wonderful rehab facility.
He cannot get to the patients' internet access stuff.
And can't seem to get the loan of a laptop. I have suggested he appeal to social work.
So telephone calls are a diversion. He is appreciative of people thinking of him.
So all you really have to do is let the phone ring and hang up when he answers.
He will know someone is thinking of him.
PM for direct bedside phone number, River et al.
