Today I raised my Androcur dosage to 150 mg/day. I've already tried 150 mg/day for one week at the beginning of February with no changes then, so I'm not very optimistic. But now I can go with that dosage for months.

hey, completely irrelevant to the topic now being discussed, just checking in really, but I've been taking siterone @100mg a day for just under 11 weeks now and it's going nicely Not that I don't have any libido, in fact it's given my sexuality a much needed tweak in the right direction and cleared my head on how I feel about a lot of things. Also haven't masturbated for a month, that has been useful, no more fantasy, lets me focus on reality for once. Probably not so useful for people looking to be a eunuch but bodyfat is shifting all over so I have a vague figure and my hips moved round a bit so my walk is girlier now

Just got the doctor to do a liver function test so I'll know how effective / dangerous I'm being in a few days too, my increased need to pee and love of water got him spooked that I might have diabeets too but I doubt that's the case.

I think I would be incapable of injecting myself, so this leaves it out. Has anyone got an idea on the dosage of Provera if taken as tablets?

i think depo provera has started losing its effect on me. It worked well to begin with, but now im back to getting erections and having wetdreams and libido is increasing. i guess with any drug the effect wears off when your body adapts and gets used to it, and you have to increase the dosage. Pity, it worked well to begin with.

An update: I've been taking Androcur 150 mg/day for 3 weeks now. By the second week, my ability of erection was greatly diminished and I stopped masturbating, because I had trouble maintaining an erection and failed to reach even close to orgasm. My sex drive has also significantly reduced, but unfortunately it's still there: I'm still wasting my time on online dating sites (though am semi-impotent now and incapable of sexual intercourse). I still get occasional (semi-)erections. This makes me think I will up the dosage further to 200 mg/day after a week in order to finally eradicate my sex drive.

Odd that it took you so long on such a high dosage. Aren't you on AA's since early this year? Haven't you noticed any unwanted side effects like hot flashes etc.?

What about spermatogenesis? That's a somewhat accurate indicator for testosterone levels without doing bloodwork.

I actually thought spermatogenesis had vanished, as there was no pre-cum whilst masturbating. But unfortunately I noticed yesterday that I do get pre-ejaculate while getting erect. It seems to me that the warning that consuming alcohol may reduce the effectiveness of Androcur came true. I'm a rare drinker but I had consumed 3 1.5 litre bottles of long drink and 1 2-litre bottle of beer on Friday and Saturday, before noticing yesterday that my sexual function was going up again...

I've had no side-effects apart from reduction in facial hair, that I noticed when I was still on 100 mg/day.
