Just a side remark. You should wear seatbelt when you are not alone in the car.

Purely from philosophical standpoint of view, humans have really very little freedom to choose or free will. 90% of cases when we think we have a free will, it is simply when nobody or nothing will not restrict our actions. We have very little Freedom of choice. We act on our emotions 95% of cases without using much brain. We are slaves of our habits. Why it is so hard to quit smoking? just decide and quit! If you went to shopping, how many things you bought on emotional impulses? Or if someone is gay, and doesn't want to be one. While we think we are very rational beings, we humans are much more emotional than we like to admit. All these wars, fights, gambling, football, space race... How much rational thinking in these things?

I had to go back to the beginning of this discussion to figure out what the original subject was. Appears it was about doing DP, then about expectations, results, and why seek DP or any kind of T-reducing method. With input from others who have done DP, and others who have not done DP, I don't yet feel very illuminated about a topic of which I know nothing. It's kind of a personal blog about finally doing it, with some relevant input, but drifting. Hard to know what's real, imagined, fabricated. A curious thread. Tracking it to see what happens. Some threads take on miniseries or soap opera tendencies. Interesting to see how different thoughts from different people give threads a life of their own. Still trying to figure out how seat belts relate to DP.
