Note to dishwasher/Evil Overlord: Cannot cut steak with plastic knives... Need heavy paper plates or you cut thru the paper.

Hmmm, I am considering the possibility of coming this year, although a week later might work better for me. Being on a fixed income of SSI I would probably need to pitch a small tent somewhere and save the expense of a motel room. The transportation alone is going to cost me a bunch. I am wondering how spread out the venues are from each other?

BTW, I do have a lightsaber myself. Might have to defend myself from a Sith Lord. I wonder how many have seen a Jedi wearing a loincloth. 😄

I suspect a tent site might be available at Eunuch Central. Things are spread out a bit, but then there'll be some transportation options available. Dinner at the convent on Thursday evening is in Minneapolis, but everything else takes place east of St Paul in the far 'burbs. We do dinner Friday evening at the Hog Trough (Old Country) where a light saber fight has been known to break out. Give it a try!

The gathering is set for locations in and near Minneapolis. The email that Bobbie sent to all of those planning to attend had 17 people on it.

The events will run from dinner at the Convent on Thursday evening through Sunday dinner at Riverwind & Talula's adjacent homes. You can come for all or part of the MoM.

If you want to receive the information, send a PRIVATE MESSAGE to Bobbie, giving him an email address that will accept attachments (like a map to the locations!)

If you haven't used the private message function before, you need to

1) Click on Bobbie's name at the upper left of the post above this one,

2) Click in the drop-down menu to send a private message to Bobbie, and

3) Ask him for the information about the MoM and give him your address.

I hope to see more than 17 of us there.....
